Thanks! Yours is the only YT review of this Vevor charger I found. For dryer outlets, a smart splitter is very handy - automatically switch between dryer and car, or two cars. One outlet gets priority, like the dryer. NeoCharge seems to make a good one that's UL listed, hope to buy soon.

Not sure faster is better. I have been charging my leaf for 10 years at the slowest rate and my battery shows no degradation. It charges while I sleep and is always ready when I need it to be.

Yeah I just bought the 24 amp 120/240v version I think it's the one you have. Got it direct from the Vevor website. It's actually not easy to find an EVSE with a nema 10-30 plug that does 24 amps and also can do 120 or 240v. The nema 10-30 is a very common outlet in California anyway for dryers and is often found in garages and workshops, and this would generally be hooked up to a 30 amp breaker, so you really should only use 24 amps on the EV charger (80% rule). Also it's nice in a pinch to be able to just plug into a garden variety 120v 15A outlet. So on paper this looks like a very good solution. This has an instruction book but the instruction book doesn't tell how to change the current it's fairly useless. It also does not come with any 120v adapter. Apparently you just need a plug adapter, the charger automatically recognizes the lower voltage. But this information is also not readily available on their order page or in the manual. If you were using 120v you would almost certainly want to turn the current down! And yeah you need to do this before plugging the car in. I suppose there are 120v 30a circuits out there but kind of unusual, but apparently this unit will put out a full 24A at 120V if requested. So I think this is a good versatile unit but wish they had included thorough instructions and a 120V adapter.

Thanks for your review and feedback! I am glad that it allows you to change the current on the unit and that it is limited to 24amps since it is for a plug that is associated with a 30mins circuit thusly following the 80% rule!!! Thanks again!

Mine only goes to 24 amps. For the 32 amps I assume it is the same. You press the button until it cycle through to the amperage you want/your car can accept. I’m pretty sure This needs to be done prior to plugging in. I can’t check right now but if I’m wrong I will let you know!
