Basmati rice 1 bowl 300 gram
Mattar 1 bowl 300 gram
half cauliflower ,2 potatoes, 2 onions and 1 tomato
ghee 1 cup Desi
garlic paste 2 table spoons
homemade masala Made of bay leaf 1 ,2 green cardamoms ,cinnamon stick,black cardamom 1 ,2cloves and 2 black pepper seeds, half table spoon cumin seeds,Red chilly powder 1table spoon, half table spoon turmeric powder, 1table spoon fennel powder, 1table spoon Pulao masala powder ,2 table spoons of salt
1 glass water approx 200 ml only
preparation ...
soak basmati rice for 15 minutes ,,wash vegetables well and cut in small pieces, boil peas in water in a cooker and steam till it gives 3 whistles ,wash it with cold water to avoid smell ,pour 1 cup of desi ghee in a cooker ,add garlic paste and saute well ,add powder masala prepared with whole spices mentioned and saute well ,add pea and saute well ,add other veggies and saute well till light brown add other powder masala with 1 glass of water ,steam it on low flame ,put tawa on the bottom to avoid burning ,after few minutes its tasty ,serve hot with raita ,curd or pickles .
