Thanks for the video. My wife and I purchased the DreamCloud July 2022 and loved it at first, however it's a big bowl a little less than a year later. I'm 6'3" and 230lbs and my wife is 130. The comfort layer has totally collapsed and now it's just miserable to sleep on. So now the search begins again for something with a thinner comfort layer where it will hold up better over time.

@@chaznad5411 I think that the next one will be a sleep number. My cousin who is an NFL player says that most guys in the league uses sleep number, he's happy with his so we'll give that a try.

Years ago I found reviews by actual customers, now its rare to come across one. I ended up trying out hybrids at a store and fell in love. Its a trade off for a side sleeper with hip and shoulder issues, so its plusher and a bit more difficult to roll over, but i had a cheap all foam mattress which functioned well but getting up and turning over is a huge effort. You need to know your body and how you sleep. These stores carry bed in box mattress too, just not the online names, similar pricing, and my store will unwrap it and let it poof up a day before delivery and take away old one. Win win.

Received the Titan firm mattress last week and it is not the same anymore. The coils is weak and there is no edge support. The mattress was bouncy for such a firm bed.

Did you happen to catch the sentence when he says they send us these mattresses for free to evaluate. I would prefer just the average Joe given me their honest opinion from trying the beds themselves. Notice that they say these beds are for heavy people. But it’s a thin person on the bed. I’d be very careful if you bought a bed in a box I would definitely check their return policies, which they can always get out of anyway. It’s just something I noticed if it’s for heavy people I would like to see someone to 50 or above that weight testing the beds out for us to say that some skinny guy. Look at other videos where they say the bed was not given to them. I’d hate to see someone stuck with a bed that does not feel good

All these beds feel like concrete for a heavy side sleeper. I am looking at the puffy royal hybrid. But 700lbs max might not be quite enough support for me and my gf plus our dog to lay on. I weigh less than 350 but i am tempeted to keep my layla hybrid because it supports at least 100lbs more on both sides. Just buy a thick topper for it for more pressure relief.

What about a mattress for someone who’s 250+ lb and has upper and lower back pain?

I’m 360lbs 6’6”. I bought the King size Nectar Premier. So far so good. It’s only been 2 weeks, but I have no more pain due to sleeping. Picked it up sale for $1138.33

But what about heavy people who need more pressure relief ? Many of these beds have thinner foam layers and feel like concrete. Some heavy people are strictly side sleepers and need more pressure relief. I sleep on the laya hybrid and I am 320lbs. The soft side has been too firm for both me and my gf. But it's one of the few king size beds that supports 1k lbs or more. But I feel like we need that kind of support but a much thicker layer of comfort foams. Something with over 5 inches of comfort foams on top.
