I love the idea of getting a kid the Brooklyn Bedding mattress. Affordable, natural, and made with great materials. Thanks for this video, guys!

The Layla is my pick to buy for my child. As there is 2 sides to choose from. Plus cooling factor. My 10 yr old son watched the videos with me at times and he has requested the Layla over and over again.

Hi Madison. I would buy a mattress that is not too firm. The Layla is a good pick because the soft side can be used by a young child and when the child gets older, he/she can use the firm side if preferred. I also like Dreamfoam's Artic Dreams because it looks comfortable, yet sturdy for an older child. Thx!

Great video! I’d probably go with the Layla or Tuft and Needle. My son had a tuft and needle in college and absolutely loved it.

Interesting list. As children grow quickly and eventually out grow a bed, I'd likely choose the Dream Chill hybrid to get them through the growth spurts and provide the support and durability they need. It would also be good for those combination back and side sleepers as they get older. Thanks for the information

I would probably buy the 5 Little Monkeys bed for a smaller child, I think it's a really interesting concept and much better than what our parents did (find the cheapest one to use until we got older and had actual preferences). For my teenager, I'd probably get the Bear because he's an athlete and I think the recovery aspect would be beneficial for him.

I would consider buying my kid either a hybrid bed so that it can last for a long time, or a bed like the Bear mattress that can help them recover, so that they can get optimal sleep for their crucial growth period.

When buying a mattress for one of my kids I am looking for something durable and affordable but also comfortable. I prefer a washable cover ,especially for my younger kids because accidents happen and they just do gross things like take all their sheets off and wipe boogers on their beds ,walls and other stuff-lol. The five little monkeys mattress looks right up my alley for my 2 yr old getting ready for her first big girl bed and ticks most of my boxes in what I'm looking for.

Since I do not have kids buying a bed for a kid would be kind of creepy. I enjoy the list as most of these beds can be bought in queen size as well for us adults.

Unless it is an older teen, they don’t need a hybrid.
