That thickening tonic actually works 😳 comparing your hair styles with the tonic vs other products, the tonic makes your hair looks much fuller

Can I mix two prestylers? Like use mousse for volume and then sea salt spray for texture? Or thickening tonic with salt spray?
@BenArthur

not really, they tend to counteract each other and things can get a bit sticky

You can. I do it all the time. I use the thickening spray right after shower and when my hairs dry, I add a lil sea salt spray. Give me lift and volume. My hairs on the thicker side, so depending on you hair, u can mix them

I realise using those cheap hair gels work as a prestyler too, tho they give a slightly crispy feel to your hair. But a little goes a long way. I use them for travel, cause they aren't aerosol.

Michael Light what I do is use a hair mousse, massage it through the roots and blow dry using heat setting (don't forget hear protectant), then I use a hair clay and in this case you could use cavalier clay and then use a round brush or padded brush or vented brush and use that for volume while using a hairdryer on cold setting

I need a good prestyler for fine straight hair. I was thinking either the sea salt spray or meraki or a mousse or something... any suggestions?

I use blackmist as a pre styler but it is the sea salt prestyler too? I read this is a sea salt prestyling.. I dont like the effect dry and crunchy effect of sea salt

heya, what's the pros of sea salt spray over mousse? For quiffs and better hold, mousse is obviously better but I recently picked up a motorcycle so now I have to keep my hair down as a side fringe, but I still wanted to add some texture to my hair and not sure whether to keep using mousse or sea salt spray. I even made a DIY sea salt spray on my own to test it out and I don't like it as much, but I was thinking maybe my mixture is just bad. Any info or tips?

Considering I have really, really thick hair, do I even need any of this? I heard that using products that add volume is really really bad for guys with thick hair. I mean... even though it is thick my hair is also pretty flat I guess, and that's annoying. I can never get my hair to stay up (or down) because of how thick it is and I worry if any of these would actually work.
@yuseiilyas701

Jackman LeBlanc you should just use something natural as possible, or something that isn't too heavy and still gives good volume, for instance fudge mega hair milk, gives really nice volume but also a nice soft shine texture (been using it for a few weeks, very awesome and nothing remotely heavy about it) and then just blow-dry your hair, and use hair spray to hold in place. Done

I don’t like men hair or body products. Most have a similar cologne smell which I hate.,However sone smell great like head & shoulders for men with Old Spice scent. It smells better than Old Spice though because I dont like the smell of Old Spice but that shampoo smell is awesome. I think they combine the scent of OS with H&S. I usually go for unisex natural products.
