I'm from a non-native English speaking country. I really wanted to check the opinion of a native speaker of English. Her American English accent sounds perfect to my ears, but because I'm not a native speaker of English, I was not really sure about that and was waiting for the opinion of an American native speaker of English. She is a good inspiration for me in my English learning journey.

Actually, all your suggestions and strategies are absolutely fantastic because the first advice "why are you learning English?" is definitely what I firstly asked myself throughout the way I learned English. I answered the question "I want to have smooth and natural conversations with foreigners." Now I have been much more engaged in English than I have ever had. If we love English, we are more interested in having more and more vocabularies and expressions.

I also have my own methods but I don't really know how to call them. Method 5 below seems like a combination of all of the above 4 methods. Maybe... 5. Fun-Play-Work Balance Method Method 6 is a new one I'm recently looking in: 6. Colourful 7 Times Repetition Method Quite hard to explain; it'd need a essay!

Okay! Short version: 5. Fun-Play-Work Balance Method Basically I adjust how much fun I'm having while studying hard and making sure it's still effective and not too difficult. 6. Colourful 7 Times Repetition Method New method I'm currently testing. It's a way to make sure new vocabulary stays in the head. It is inspired by spaced repetition systems and Anki flashcards.

Great tips! Thanks! The end of the video was the best. You can't learn English or another language if you do nothing and just make excuses. Here in Brazil I know students who complain that they don't improve, but they live their life only in Portuguese, and refuse to do the things they like in English. Hi Anna, thanks for your recommendation. I think it's a matter of being constant and have a schedule for everyday, I know, some times is frustrated because don't understand anything, but some times is great because you were be able to understand to much. So we need to be patient and to be continuity. Thanks a lot.
