The kid with the rpg...I remember my dormmate gave me a rundown of a moment in his father's military career. He mentioned that his dad was changed forever when he had to put down a kid strapped with a bomb that was rushing an outpost. He felt horrible that he had to do it but understands he had to save his fellow soldier's lives. That shit opened my young eyes at how sad war/conflict is.

Playing video games helped me understand some of this when I was a very young man during the first Iraq war. When I came of age and the second war was raging I was reading books, listening to my fathers experiences, watching movies and playing video games which taught me there are real threats and fights that need to be fought but that one was not something I wanted to be a part of. I loved hardcore Henry, it was refreshing to see a first person movie with a silent protagonist. @@mrjimi1 Yeah and everyone agrees it was the best part and the only really doom feeling part of the movie. Otherwise it was just a zombie movie named DOOM by idiots that didn't care to keep even the demon part of the story. Annihilation was the reverse issue trying really hard to match the games but had no budget at all to do so making it look rough and the writing also was less than desirable. Without a badass DOOM guy/Slayer how did they expect it to work? They didn't lol they weren't even allowed to use certain things from the games and we're forbidden from using DOOM 2016 references. The first clip makes the movie look like a video game, added with the fact that the character that you play as in a video almost never actually says a word just like Henry in the movie and it's almost exactly a video game feel.

Holy crap Benjy hearted my comment. I'm a sucker for badass movie moments so been binge watching for the past two day. It's cool that you connect with your fans so much that your replying to a comment made on a video that came out a year ago. Keep on making these badass videos and I'm sure to keep on watching.

While I appreciate the cinematography and idea of 6 underground swimming pool scene... it totally doesn't work because its obvious from the long shot that the volume of water coming out was greater than the pool. Takes you out of a great scene and makes you think too much.

Every shot drastically increases the likelihood that their position will be discovered, there's a lot of data that demonstrates that warning shots are largely ineffective, and a shot to the wall may very well have hit the kid anyway. When they trained us in MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) in the Marines, they taught us to stay 18 inches away from walls to minimize the danger of ricochets.
@riastradh

I’m not gonna pretend I know much of anything about sniping but from what I can gather, you’re only supposed to take a few shots from a position before you need to move. Obviously he’s being supported but better safe than sorry. A near miss may not scare the kid off or may have hurt him anyway. And if a threat is pointing at your boys...you gotta
