Sound suspect to relist a with a higher asking price during negotiation. Allthough I guess it's not unheard of or forbidden. And if the seller ain't budging I guess he tries to convince the buyer to offer more.

Anyone -- that thinks this is a scam, it’s 100% not. I say this as a licensed Realtor in 2 states. First, the original buyer already knew that the original price was 1.95 mil. That’s public info obviously, he was already looking at the price. He simply said as a principle that “he doesn’t pay full price” - So Ryan, representing the seller and only having a (fiduciary responsibility to the seller), had the ability to publicly raise the price to 2.5mil. Here’s the thing about rich people, usually they want to FEEL like they are winning or getting their way. Ryan was smart enough to know that it wasn’t about the price… as was proved… it was about the man feeling like he won. The buyer knew that he had essentially forced the seller to appease his principal, thus not giving in, thus winning the battle. The real prize to rich people is WINNING. Upvote if you agree, so we can shut these haters up. All the best.

@@SlingKokWell y'all don't understand capitalism at all. This makes sense, btw. He also raised the price so that both the buyer and the seller could gain optimal value. The buyer already had the money for the place, he just wanted to get a near 500k discount.

I assume that the buyer somehow already found out - or this video wouldn't have been made. Maybe it was a case where it wasn't a big deal. Like selling to a couple where the husband has this principle of not paying full ask but they both wanted it so wife agreed to the scam and they all just laughed about it after.

Nope. A seller can change a list price at any given time as long as it’s not under contract. It’s not illegal. No lawsuit

@@alsellseverything yeah I guess you never went in a big store where things are at 30% discount after price increase and you never bought anything. buyer like Ryan said doesn't know market price and he thinks he'll find a lavish apartment high up in world's most expensive city for cheap as like the whole world owes him and wants someone to take a huge loan, have sleepless nights with that amount of loan and handoff for cheap.
