When I visited Spain I was so confused by the orange lights on ambulances. They really don’t stand out in comparison to blue lights but, the siren made up for it at least.

Awesome video can I ask what rank paramedic would crew the skoda kodiaq for the Walsh ambulance service because the skoda kodiaq in Swindon is crewed by the operations manager

I think it’s just a paramedic, it’s like the main RRV in wales

Depending on the needs and demands on the service it could be an ECA/TECH or a PARA/ ADVANCED PARA because it could be used for anything from just a “falls car” to a mainline RRV but once you train as an ECA you are qualified to drive on blue lights regardless of vehicle so long as it’s an ambulance as you get training in both cars and vans. I’ve seen RRV’s that are DCA’s and on busy days when there’s not enough Para to go around they use them. However anything with Critical care is pretty much always a Para or Advanced or Air Ambulance typically is Para. If it had the role of the driver on it then only the person who is of that role is using it in cases of like Ops Commanders
