In honor of Barry Alvarez's retirement from after 32 years at the University of Wisconsin, including the final 18 as the Director of Athletics, take a look back at two memorable games of his coaching career:
Dec. 5, 1993 - Wisconsin vs. Michigan State - In Japan, after their 41-20 victory over Michigan State, the Badgers wasted no time celebrating the school's first Rose Bowl berth since 1963. Players broke out boxes of red roses and donned red-and-white Rose Bowl hats.
Jan. 1, 1994 Rose Bowl - Wisconsin vs. UCLA - Big Ten Player of the Year Brent Moss ran for 158 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Badgers defense forced 6 turnovers in their 21-16 victory over the Bruins.
