Post rock really is a fitting name for this genre. I feel like a lot of rock fans (even though they still love the stuff they grew up on) have begun to crave specific bits and pieces of rock instrumentality, without any distractions. Because some of those elements are removed, so are their parameters, and it pushes the genre towards floatier, more immersive riffs. It's a great listening experience.

Guitar in the beginning had me hooked instantly! Very clear punchy awesome flowing drums. I’m a musician myself. Totally dig this stuff. Thanks for putting it out. Need to find out who these bands are and give them the credit they deserve.

As soon as I heard I felt an instant connection, it’s like I’ve been playing all the wrong notes and progressions my entire life… when I heard this I knew I could play what I’m hearing, for the first time I actually know what to do with my guitar and pedal set up..

The Lisa Floyd's call is horrific, but it barely reflects the horrors of domestic violence, selfish behavior and lack of morals. It is a crude reminder of what some people are living right about now, so we all should see it as it is. The damage is real, and as a society we need to be aware of the weight it burdens on the most vulnerable. Thank God she's better now, but let us all understand that evil is real and its consequences can scar anyone for life.

i really think that the real 911 call added in "Autism - Brittle bones" was unnecessary. Pretty good material, i really enjoyed it

I agree. But man I'd love to find more of that sound the band makes when that call part actually comes up. Is that called guitar noodling? I'd like to find that sound with harsher noise sounds over the top.

Nothing quite like hearing domestic violence half way through when listening to music :/ Literally ruined this for me with how absolutely unnerving that was

Track 3 Autism brittle bones - I think that using an actual 911 call from a very distressed child is exploitative in the same way that using a child abuse image as an album cover would be. If it was a sample from a movie or something then you could say it's art, but if it's a real police call and you're gaining and revenue from it then, unless you have a deal with the family to pay them a portion of royalties, you should really take this down

According to the band, their intention was to shed light on sensitive topics like domestic violence. The call is quite popular and was made by Lisa Floyd when she was 6 years old (her story is actually pretty sad since she suffered domestic abuse by her partner years after). It is something terrible to listen to, but it is nothing more than reality for some people.

An actual 911 call of a screaming child layered through an entire track titled "brittle bones." Not what I would call beautiful or great. More like sick, satanic, and awful. Hurt people hurt people. So, heal yourself.
