Of all the internet theories flying around the internet, my absolute favourite has to be: Tommy Wiseau is an alien that made a movie about humans after only spending a few years on earth. Close 2nd: Wiseau was part of an international diamond smuggling ring. They imported conflict diamonds in the Korean leather jackets he sold. In order to launder the earnings, the syndicate he works for decided to produce this film as tax write-offs when they flop, with a view to produce flop after flop. Only they never expected this to gain so much infamy they were forced to shut down operations and move the business overseas.
