Seems a simple video on the surface but you really know the product specs and have done the research. Excellent

I like the olight small orb light. It's rechargeable. Its great for just a small light. It's about twenty bucks. I've ordered a few as gifts for this year.

Cheap flashlights and headlamps would make great stocking stuffers for under 20 bucks just about any department store has them.

I have avid Geocachers (self-proclaimed nerds) in the family. They would think I was crazy if I gave them "survival" tools, but, some of these would be good geocacher tools...or "Undercover Preps" as I like to call them...Lunch for their adventure, a nice knife in case they need help opening the Mountain House, an alcohol stove to heat water for their lunch with, some good matches to light it, etc, etc, etc...I might add a light weight cup for heating the water...

I have the SOLO alcohol stove and its good. I also have a pot stand for it. I have the Trangia coming to my door probably tomorrow. As far as fuel, Denatured Alcohol isnt the best, its good but not the best. HEET in the yellow bottle not the red bottle will get you the fastest boil, but, Everclear is the cleanest burning. also 91% Isopropyl alcohol is a great choice

Dang it! YT just ate my comment. 😒 Let me try this again… One item that I never see any YT prepping channel discuss that would make a great stocking stuffer AND prepping item is the arc lighter. This is a wand with two prongs at the end of it that electricity arcs between when you push the button. It’s an electric lighter so unlike matches and BIC lighters, it can be recharged and reused, rather than thrown away. I’ve had one for several years now that I got off Amazon, and I’ve literally never had it run out of go juice. 😀 After months of daily use, I’ll eventually plug it in to charge, just bc I figure it has to be getting low. But I’ve never actually hit the end of a charge. A lot of people think of them as only a candle lighter, but they can be used anywhere BICs or matches can be used. And the arc between the probes is super cool, so even your non-prepping friends and family will love it. If you bought one off Amazon and did a review of it, you’d be bringing this fun prep to the attention of the prepping community, a community that has thus far missed out on talking about it. 😀
