Simple Wasn't in the script. Plus Then The Fonz wouldn't have to save the day. But a better question would have been why did the Fonz let that jerk run away? Should have called the police and then the jerk wouldn't go try that stunt on another lady when Fonzie wasn't around. Totally agree on why did who ever think that crap would add to the scene. And oh so true of today as almost every movie or show is filled and at times we cannot make out the words being spoken.

The answer to all these questions is because it's a family show. No she did not want to be raped and if this was real I'm 100% sure that Fonzie would chase down that guy later but he was just checking to make sure Joanie was alright.

I think the episode is from season 11, and is called 'Kiss Me, Teach." Joanie is working as a student teacher at a vocational hugh school -where Fonzie also works at this point, teaching auto shop- and one of her students takes an inappropriate interest in her.

Okay, so the door locks from the inside, and she was right there at the door, so while he was closing the blinds, she could have just unlocked the door and ran out. Unfortunately, Fonzie had not yet met MacGyver, who would have shown him this trick, which he could have passed on to Joanie.

I love November; it means I get to see 2 of the funniest shows ever. WKRP’s turkey drop, I have seen it hundreds of times and it has not lost a thing in the many years since it premiered. My other favorite is Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving. Most of the show is just cute, but for the 5 minutes or so when Snoopy fights with the lawn chair, I laugh until I can’t breathe.
