Born in the same year myself. Our era was basically the golden era for commercializing products aimed at kids. He-Man was created as a toy line with the cartoon show an afterthought of how to promote it, basically a 20min tv advertisement...brilliant! We had it great though with original Transformers, Voltron, GI Joe, Toxic Crusaders, hand held nintendo games, WWF thumb wrestlers and then the hasbro line, commodore 64 and The Amiga 500, nintendo and Sega Master System, Micro Machines, Garbage Pail Kids and heaps more. AEWSOME TIMES!

I'm so glad you made this video. You spent a lot of time, money and research and it was fun to learn some things about older toys. I'm from 96 so I didn't see a lot of these toys but I do remember a lot. The early 2000 shared a lot of things from the 90s. I've never gotten rid of anything I've owned. My room right now is full of old toys on the shelves. Gameboy colors, PS1 games, stretch Screamers, Furbies, Beanie Babies, Don't Wake Daddy, mousetrap , Simon, I spy books. The list goes on and on. Maybe I should start selling on eBay

I’m years and probably a decade late to finally checking out your channel, currently doing a documentary/podcast on the history of Crystal Pepsi and damn was i snoozing on so much gold. This is some awesome stuff. I’ve been collecting a lot too and have done like you buying stuff that I grew up with that I think is cool. Also thanks for what you did to bring back Crystal Pepsi.

That was a great throwback. We’re you ever into those Choose Your Own Adventure books in the 80s too?

As a kid in the 80s I was obsessed with them. Still remember sneak holding the page open in case I turned to a "you're dead, the end" lol

As a child of the 90's I highly enjoyed this video. I've been slowly building my retro gaming collection over the years.

Bruh, you took me back. I had all those Ghostbusters, pee wees play house action figures. I also had the toxic crusaders, tmnt, and micro machines toys. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

You and I are pretty close in age so this was super rad to watch! We both had the same things as kids so all of these struck my heart strings super hard. Enjoy the nostalgia!! I had a huge huge retro video came collection but had to sell them due to financial reasons =( still kills me. Im really surprised you didn't show/say anything about TMNT!!! That was huuuuge in my childhood. Also I forget the name of the globe on PeeWee but good God he gave me nightmares as a kid.
