Just picked one up. Have you used yours with the tines? Any recommendations on the scarifying? Thanks in advance!

Nice! I have a separate attachment that is just for scarifying so I switch back and forth between the 2. I haven't tried this attachment but I'm wondering if the angle of the mount bracket isn't angled enough to really dig in with the scarifier. My scarifier is made by the same manufacturer and has a much steeper angle. If you were to tilt the planer at that steep of an angle, the farthest tip or fingers of the planer would touch the ground way before the scarifier could really dig in deep. Let me know how it works for you when you end up using it.

I purchased mine through a local equipment auction but I see them on eBay and locally on Facebook marketplace in the $1500 range. Prices may be different in other areas.

Did you the "float" function while using this?

For what I did in this video I did not, it made such a quick work of the small space that it wasn't necessary. However I do use it periodically when using this attachment. Did you pick up a planer? I love mine

This land plane looks identical to the bradco land plane that sells for 2-2.5 times as much. I mean 98% of it is identical, foot pads on the top being the only thing I could find different. Are we sure they aren't identical? Does Bradco advertise theirs as made in the USA? Just curious.

@@maxeffortlawnservice9249 it's likely that China copied their design. Many of the cheap Chinese attachments I find are direct copies of US made brands. Not all of them but definitely quite a few.

@@BrettsBuilds I'd lean more in that direction if Bradco advertised their version as made in the USA. I don't see that anywhere on their advertising and knowing how business is these days wouldn't put it past anyone that they just marked it up a mess!

@@maxeffortlawnservice9249 that's definitely a possibility. The companies in China will allow you to brand their attachments any way you want with bulk dealer purchasing. They offered this to me. It's mostly the same factories in China pumping out all the different brands. AGT, Topcat, Mower King, AGROTK, Handy, Landy: All the same factory.
