I've lived here for 22 years so I'm familiar with all the areas you reviewed. I wondered how you'd address, and if you WOULD address, the criminal element in N CHS. You said what needed to be said in a professional and delicate manner. Great job! What you didn't say is that we're full!! FULL. The beaches and access to them is sadly limited now, with Isle of Palms all but refusing parking on the street. Sullivan's Island is pretty much the same. Daniel Island is land in a river- no beaches there. Folly is known as the Family Beach and is much less elitist than IOP and Sullivan's but again- the parking. Charleston offers much but prices are significantly higher each year with no end in sight. Did i mention that we are FULL?

Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! Yes, the beaches have gotten busy, especially at peak times. I try to avoid going at those times and go first thing in the morning, later in the evening, or off-season. Charleston has definitely grown a ton. That's why almost all of the building is taking place further out, since all the areas closer to town are full.

Funny how you mentioned checking the crime rates after you summarized North Charleston lol

I'm not allowed to comment on safety as a REALTOR, but I can encourage people to research crime rates on their own 🙂

i used to think CT was expensive lol, totally beaten by Charleston city and the greater Charleston. I will continue to wear thick layers to survive the cold winter in New England😂

Prices have definitely changed a lot in the last 5 years! Just depends on what you're looking for specifically, but it's definitely become way less affordable.

I thought Nexton used to be a tree farm? Everywhere in Charleston and Summerville is a floodplain so wetlands are common.
