serious question here do you guys think cartel members get ptsd My uncle is CJNG in GTO he is in a mental hospital rn. So yea…
@SpanishandGo
7 ай бұрын
We’re no experts on mental health. Considering that cartel members are humans too, I would imagine that some are haunted by the things they seen or done, while others aren’t. Adlerian psychology teaches us that we get to assign meaning to the things that happen to us. If you think what you did was good, then that’s the meaning you assign to that experience and are unlikely to be traumatized by it.

0:48 people from Spain are not Spanish, they are Spaniards. This is a common mistake most English speakers make. The Spaniards hiding in the AlHóndiga were mostly civilians who were murdered by the insurgents. Iturbide and Hidalgo had a falling out due to this mass murder of innocent civilians where Hidalgo doubted Iturbide's competency since he had failed to restrain the crimes of the men he lead.

At 5:53 we talk about the Spaniards. But according to Wikipedia, the demonym for people from Spain is Spanish or Spaniard. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spain) Spaniard is a noun. It is a demonym for individuals from the country of Spain e.g. “That Spaniard is my husband - he is from Spain.” or “There are a few Spaniards on the train at the moment.” Spanish is both a noun and an adjective, depending on context. As an adjective, Spanish refers to the description of Spaniards or description of anything related to Spain. e.g. “My father is Spanish - he is a Spaniard.” or “I have Spanish ancestry - my father is from Spain.” or “My favourite food is paella which is a famous Spanish rice dish.” As a noun, Spanish refers to the language that originates from Spain is is widely spoken as a native language in much of Latin America (excepting Brazil). e.g. “My neighbour is Colombian - she speaks Spanish.” And for the history part, there's always multiple sides to the story. But there's no doubt that many natives of "New Spain" were upset that they were being taken advantage of. Thanks for watching! -Jim

Hi guys my friends are afraid of getting sick is there anything that you can suggest to make them feel comfortable visiting there? I know weird question
@SpanishandGo
5 жыл бұрын
Fantastic question. We’re going to make a video about this soon! Yes, getting sick here is definitely a possibility. However, you can take precautions to help avoid it. Avoid porous fruits (strawberries) and vegetables (lettuce, cilantro), and make sure your food is thoroughly cooked. Usually they’re fine in a restaurant, but not so much in the street. You don’t want to drink the tap water, and make sure that if you buy ice it’s for consumption. Some places offer two kinds, one for consuming, and another for just cooling things down. Hope that helps! Look out for our video on this subject in the near future! Thanks for watching. -Jim
