It's very clear that Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro are ageing like fine wine 👏 I request you to post similar kinda videos on tws which are at the budget of below ₹2500rs too. I've heard good things about the M31 but have never reviewed it. Oppo doesn't really exaggerate bass, which I like. It's usually truer in its delivery for this range. But yes, a lot of people prefer heavier bass, like how the OnePlus Buds Z2 performs.

I currently own M32 neckband and its very good, I like it better than M31 as M31's bass boost mode has reverb 😂 and LDAC is not very practical in my opinion, M32 is very pleasant to listen to, I can't think of a better neckband in fact I have 2 of those in my home. They are also very comfortable with their wing tips and small in ear design.

Hello Paul Sir...Thanks for yet another awesome video and coincidentally I am watching this on the Oppo Enco Air2 pro which is now being used by my wife. I just have *one query* to make.. *Is WAVELET now WORKING ON NETFLIX AND PRIME VIDEOS also ?* as it was earlier working only on a few music apps.. After the upgrade of my OnePlus 7 to Android 12 the Dolby Atmos app was rendered to something useless (filled with pictures and cartoons @Colour OS) and it was disappointing as the sound of the buds also got real bad. Today I re-installed the Wavelet and using Oppo Enco Air2 pro with default settings, the Wavelet graphic equalizer appears to be really good. *SO IT MEANS WAVELET NOW WORKS ON NETFLIX MOVIES?*

I haven't tested the 130NC, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information. JBL has just launched a new series of TWS earphones, which I think replace the 130NC and 230NC, I could be wrong about this but check it out before picking up any dated models. From this lot of TWS, I prefer the oppo over the others. Super value for money on a feature and sound front.

Hello Paul. I love your videos and absolutely respect your efforts in each of your videos... I wish you reach the heights 😊 I need your help 1. Would you recommend a TWS withing 5k budget. My priorities as per rankings are a. Comfort b. Call quality. c. Balanced audio profile. Bit bass would do no harm. 2. I liked the power and bass of Oneplus buds pro 2. What do you recommend in the price bracket? I will wait for your response. And once again congratulations for the amazing channel🎉

If you've heard the Pro series OnePlus makes, I suspect it has a strong punch with detail in the bass. It's a bit difficult to get the same posture in sound in the sub 5k price range. I have quite liked the JBL 230NC, but it's known to have a few issues. Plus, JBL has just come out with a few new products that might be replacing the previous generation. A set that I've really come to like is the LG FP5 but I think it sits in the 8k range, but I've seen it on Croma for around 6k. Conisder giving it a look as well as my reviews on it for more information. Thanks for your kind and encouraging words, they keep me going 😊

If your wife's ears aren't small, I'd strongly recommend the Oppo enco air 2 pro. They're a terrific set of all-around earphones. I've always quite liked them, but my left ear, being a bit small, tends to start feeling discomfort, which leads to pain post 30-45mins of listening. This is really the only issue I've had with these. Otherwise, oppo earphones have always been a no-nonsense brand to own. Another set I've come to enjoy recently is the OnePlus Buds Z2. I didn't like them a year ago because they were a little too bass heavy for my taste, but the HeyMelody app now offer one more EQ tuning, which makes them sound just right for me. The one negative about the Z2 is that some people, me included, faced a hissing ANC issue with it. Thankfully, OnePlus did acknowledge this and replaced the units. Some people had to change theirs about 3-4 times even until they got a proper working piece. It's worth knowing this before you commit. But they are an enjoyable set to wear, and I've never had any discomfort or pain with them, being the main thing. Moving onto what you're looking for. Sadly, I haven't tested earphones in that range. I have heard good things about the oppo enco x2 and oneplus buds pro 2 as well, but I can't really comment on them since I haven't tested them myself. I have tested a few Yamaha products in that range, but Yamaha isn't looking to please the masses with all the bells and whistles, they cater more toward a truness on sound and do a good job of it too. But anyway, if you do commit to a OP Buds Pro or anything in that range, let me know how it treats you. I'm trying to get my hands on a Nothing Ear2 for review, which sits in that range, but it'll be a few weeks before I come out with that review.

@@PaulsPOV Firstly rhank you for taking your time for the detailed response... 1. I also love oppo as an audio brand. I also have the entry level oppo enco buds which also turned out to be super good for the price of just 1600 rs. It is bass heavy with not much separation but works quite fine just for occasional listening for the price. Now I want her to have good mic and anc feature as well because her job also demands the calls while she travels. Becasue over the ear office headphones( though its a Jabra 65, which is excellent one itself) are not pleasent looking and travel friendly for the size, while she travels in the bus or cab a tws would be good.. She has normal earhole, but she falls asleep while putting those in ears quite often 🙃.. I gave her Sony c200 because it has smallest drives.. it didnt hurt her ear while she falls asleep... Anyway I trust Oppo more as a brand for tws, so I am sealing the oppo enco air 2 pro for my wife, as it comes as a good mix bag... 2. I tested both oneplus buds pro and pro 2, my family members have both. I would say there is no major upgrade in the pro 2, yes if you have a oneplus device you can go for it for spatial audio etc... but the pro one is still quite good, for the lesser price. In pro 2 the dynaudio tuning is noticable to me... Don't know much how much Hans Zimmer contributed 😁 but the bass is cleaner, treble is crisp and and the midtones are richer than the predecessor.. the instrument separation in lower frequencies is note worthy which I missed a little bit in the pro one. And both the pro and pro 2 are immensely loud even at 75-80 % so keeping them at low volume helps the battery consumption. So yes its good to go for me. But the call quality, the overall vocal clarity and off course the anc and transparency of airpods pro 2nd gen are unmatched... still I would save significant bucks and go for oneplus buds pro 2... unless you do find an alternative for me in that range and review it 😉 ( I have a month time to get mine, my wife will get the oppo enco air 2 pro next month bdw, thanks for bringing the clarity in my decision 😀) As always keep up the amazing work... 🩵 #FragHunt

@PaulsPOV
Жыл бұрын
From what I've experienced with LDAC and a pair of Sony WH1000XM4's, I'd say LDAC is superb with over all detail and quality since it's able to push out that much more detail than AAC and SBC codecs. BUT, here's the catch, if your source is only at 320kbps, it'll still only carry that much data. So I listened to some really hi-res files when testing those headphones that play back at over 5mbps, LDAC was the bottle neck in this case, but this codec does have a huge benefit on a wireless front.

The EQ you mention, is that via a OnePlus phone or in the HeyMelody app for other phones?

They're similar when it comes to their batteries. But on a call and sound front, I prefer the oppo over the realme. I've had my oppos for over 2 years, usually without any problems, so I can recommend it with some confidence.

Battery degradation is expected from such small cells. They won't hold power like they used to. That's about it. Then, one day, they won't turn on.

Yes, it does. You'll have to download the HeyMelody app if you want to have better control of it.

Both the oppo and the realme tend to sound like they have an amping problem straight out of the box, but once the realme is on volume enhancer mode and the oppo is on the bass boost EQ, their amping levels out well. I'd recommend these in these specific modes for ideal listening pleasure. When they're off, they can sound a bit boring.

@@PaulsPOV thank u for answering that query... N in ur calling test i found JBL to be better den oppo... I do take few calls n play casual online games... So my usage is some music some KZitem some games n some calls! I was drawn to JBL but ur review always suggests oppo is better... I was also considering JBL 230 nc but den read about the problems so thought about wave buds as haven't read about any problems as such in them... Ive been using a OnePlus neckband since past few years n this is gonna be my 1st TWS...

When it comes to the call test, I always leave it up to you to decide which one you prefer. That's why I make the demo. The JBL is no slouch with call tests. It carries your voice over well since they've used near-field microphones. Not having ENC might be a negative for some, but it does pretty well, really. Yes, the 230NC has been known to have issues, plus, JBL has just launched a new set, which I think replaces the 230NC, so it may not make sense to consider the 230NC. I haven't tested the neck band you've been using, so I'm not sure how these TWS will stand up against it. If you do buy a TWS set, let me know what you think about the differences between your neck band and them. I'd like to know.

Hi Paul.. What tws will you suggest as a all rounder (majorly for calls) within a budget for about 10k?

Call wise, I haven't tested many TWS earphones in that range l, but I found the Nothing Ear 1 to perform really well for calls. I think the Ear 2 should be just as good or better for calls, though. I'm trying to get my hands on one for a review soon.

@@PaulsPOV thanks for the response sir I have one confusion regarding this As I have checked, the main upgrades for the new Jbl tws over 130 n 230 are Bluetooth 5.3 and future LC3 audio codec support However, my iPhone 13 Pro is on Bluetooth 5.0 only Would I still get the LC3 codec support once it is available? If it’s not the case. 8 would probably go for Jbl 230 as it is available only for 4999
@PaulsPOV

The codec support will depend on what Apples plans are. Android users have been getting support with updates. One of the biggest updates I see is the IP rating of these earphones. The previous generation was an IPX4. This is IP54. I dont know about the 130NC, but the 230NC, a lot of people have had issues with one bud, which stops charging. They'd take it to the service center where it was only cleaned and didn't really fix the problem. I think this new generation will most likely bypass that issue. I've had a lot of people mention this issue in the comments of my 230NC videos.

@@PaulsPOV thanks brother for the detailed information, it is really helpful Would you recommend anything else on this price point? I don’t like heavy bass Or should I wait for oppo enco air 3 pro?
@PaulsPOV

Don't play the waiting game. You might end up waiting another year. I haven't found any news on the 3 Pro just yet. Ideally, they should have launched it a month or so ago. The 2 pro is quite a good set to own and super value for money. Would highly recommend if you want a no nonsense set of earphones. Another set I've really come to like the sound of is the LG FP5. It goes for some 8k on Amazon but I've seen it on the croma site for 6200 at times. It sounds quite premium for the price. If your priority is sound, I'd highly recommend it.

The Buds Z2 are a great pair of earphones! I didn't like them for a long time because of the heavy bass they had, but there's a new EQ preset in the HeyMelody app that balances it our quite well. It's nice to enjoy audio with now, with that new preset.
