Pro tip thanks for sharing this plug-ins they come with built-in oscilloscope which is dope and free. You're one of a kind. I was trying yo figure out how to emulate dfam on vst with 2 noise osc and lfo vcf vca. So this noise plugin is very welcome on this path. 👍
@audioreakt
2 жыл бұрын
thanks, I think dfam as such a unique/sound and UI that it make it really hard to clone in ableton, I've tried I think once but couldn't get really close to it...but dfam have two VCOs with Square and Triangle, and one with noise, you don't have 2 noise osc...whats make also the dfam unique is the integrated seq and hard sync, which can be hard to replicate

Really nice, I love the gritty sounds, yes! But I really wish I had a parameter to HOW much randomization to each control, i.e. I want a lead sound, with a slow attack on the filter, and long release. I randomize, but each time I have to reset the filter parameters. If I had control over how much randomization I could have for each parameter, I could set my filter envelope to no or less randomization. Scanned Synth VST back in the day did this perfectly. that said, this simplistic design reminds me a lot of Pendulate, from Newfangled Audio. Both and very similar, Pendulate being a bit more involved, but it's free.
@audioreakt

if you have ableton live 11 , put the vst into a rack and assign the parameter you want to random to a macro) then press random on the rack.
