Great review. I've never owned a pair of "good" earbuds, but got these as a promo when I got my new S23Ultra. I am very happy and impressed with them. Only 2 minor wants from me. 1: wireless charging, and 2: a better range in custom equalizer settings. Yes you can adjust them, but have limited options.

Great video Mike, cannot wait for the comparison vid on Jabras line-up! Unfortunately it feels like ever since the 75ts jabra has been missing the mark and under performing. The marketing and design is starting to get confusing and frustrating when it's clear what headphone users want from them. I'd be more than willing to pay a premium price if they got one set of earbuds done right instead of doing half a dozen half assed headphones.

I bought my Jabra Elite 75t just shy from 2 years now, and man I have used these every single day. Dropped them on many occasions to so I when I found that the left was dimming more frequently to being completely silent I was sad. I made a mistake of falling for a scam trying to look for better earbuds today, so hopefully i'll get my money back for it but low and behold I'm back here. After searching further I saw the best 2021 earbuds and heard Jabra mentioned, I guess I'm kind of loyal haha. Anyways I'm probably going to get the Elite 4 Active especially when I heard mono mode, my Elite 75t doesn't have the luxury its only the right that or both in which is annoying sometime the battery dies out in the right ear after a while so I really like this. I also enjoyed the bass from the first listen, and was excited to know that these pairs are probably the best and plus the noise cancelation. I found that my Elite 75t were slightly big for my ears and that after a while my ears would start to hurt, so I'm hoping that won't be the case with the Elite 4. I'll be heading up to best buy tomorrow and see if they have it in stock and will get one from there :D

During the mic test I heard a bit of a popping sound. I thought it was the headphones I was using (The new Project Rock headphones) but the rest of the video was just fine. If I were in the market for some workout earbuds, I would probably prefer the 7 Actives. I was using the Project Rocks at the gym, but over-the-ear headphones make me too hot, so I decided to get the WF1000XM4 earbuds. I know, technically not really gym buds but they do have an IP rating and they fit well enough. Great video!

"I am struggling to figure out where the Active 7’s fit in, but these three are fantastic." After very deep comparison of 7 active vs pro I can easily say where the actives fit: 1) They have louder mics and cleaner mic-voice that PROs. PRO's technology may win in some specific cases, but overal active's mic sounds better. 2) While rubber is not making big difference for sticking in the ear - it does a huge difference if dropped down or for grabbing them with hands and prevent the dropping down completely. 3) They look nicer than pros. 4) they are a bit cheaper. This makes them the overall best earbuds currently having a slight edge over pros. Now, the question is where to fit pros? Probably for those who need more "office estetics" of pros over actives. Or simply a matter of taste.

I flushed my right earbud down the loo in Vietnam. Found another set for $60 AUD. I’ve owned a heap of earphones - if you’re after the perfect balance for workout, noise cancellation or everyday - the 4 active are awesome. Mine connect directly to the iPhone - so unsure where this problem comes from? Can get incredible sounds when tweaking both Spotify eq and also on the Jabra app. Rock on.

I _really_ wanted to like these buds, and I did. At _home_ The bass boomed, volume was good - LOVE the physical buttons that are easy enough to press and not feel like I was jamming the bud into my ear. But the first morning in the gym I popped them in my ears and the music sounded tinny; anemic. I was like, "Where's that awesome sound??" After fiddling with the buds which seemed like forever, I found a somewhat "sweet spot" to get an optimal seal/sound. I think one of the big problems I have with buds that don't have hooks/wings is my inner ears reeeeally flex when I'm working out; causing me to have to twist the buds in deeper. The past couple of weeks I went through the Soundcore Sport X10, these, and today I'm getting the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros in to test. If those don't work, I'm going to try Jaybird Vista 2's, Sennheiser Sport, and the Beats Fit Pro next. After that, I give up.
