excellent arragements Tim, nice touch with the oboe, like the Breton , Call and Answer style.

Yes these tunes are Welsh as far a I know, Beth yw'r Haf i Mi is also a song. But there are obviously simarities with Breton music.

@@timeastwoodbagpiper Yes Tim, Breton and Welsh music , share a common musical heritage, as it were, the Call and Answer style of playing, in piping and singing is unique, I like your arrangements of these grand old Welsh tunes.

This is fabulous, and best of all….it’s made in Wales. Yes, I know you’re in some glade somewhere here. But I can see you playing this somewhere like Castlefest, it would fit right in, and get people dancing. Da Iawn, Diolch yn fawr iawn. Thank you for this great piece of music. 🏴

Great groove. What’s the story of the tunes, are they traditional?

They are traditional Welsh dance tunes, there are obvious similarities with Breton dance tunes though. Beth yw'r Haf i mi is also a song, though sometimes the song version can sound very different, check out Kizzy Crawford singing it.

@@timeastwoodbagpiper Thanks. The first one sounds very old, might steal it for our new medieval(ish) band 😀 youtube.com/@piedpypers
