The Bethulie Guest farmhouse was designed by Sir Herbert Baker. The building is over 100 years old. The main features of the building include beautiful wooden floors, the original doors and windows and very high ceilings. The Furnishings are of the Victorian era. Bethulie is situated on the edge of the Geriep Dam in the Orange Free State in South Africa. One of Bethulie most famous residents was Patrick Mynhard. Patrick was a writer, actor and producer and was probably most famous as well for his one-man show 'The boy from Bethulie. His family owned a holiday resort on the shores of the Bethulie Dam.
