Definitely some great episodes. I can't rate them a 10/10 because of my rating system but don't take that as me hating on them. 9.5/10.

Dude I just watched you ranting over Dr Strange 2 and then found this video of you talking about BCS. It's funny to see the double standard in your reviews. You clearly like BCS, so you miss a lot of points that could be criticized; whilst you seemingly don't like MCU movies for a while so you trash out even the CGI that absolutely no other person has disliked about the movie! hahahaha No hate, I just couldn't keep myself from pointing this. Nevertheless, I didn't like Dr. Strange 2 as well and I'm also a BCS huge fan, enjoying it much more than Breaking Bad overall. For me BCS is all about character development and choices. Also coincidences, given that as in BB they happen so ofter as possible in BCS. Nacho's development was all about someone who chose the crime life but was ultimately worried about his and his family safety, going a great lenght to first guarantee his safety from Tuco and then to keep his father safe from Don Hector by doing the most elaborated plan ever to kill someone and go unoticed. He fails because Gus is so good at what he does, so he ends up where he feared the most: his safety no longer exists and his father's is only a matter of how willingly he is to die for it. Ultimately, he accepts there's no other choice for himself and chooses to die in order to save his father. He never expresses regret for his actions, for becoming a criminal. He's a smart criminal, but indeed a criminal, and BCS is good enough to show us that criminals also have feelings (which is ultimately what kills Gus in BB, btw). Chuck is another example of how BCS thrives in character development. He starts as a moral compass for Jimmy and episode after episode becomes a hateful old son of a bitch who we would feel nothing if he just died. But ultimately we feel because he wasn't a bad person, just as Jimmy is not a bad person. They just have different choices that lead them to different places. And of course Jimmy. He was already a deep character even in BB because you could see he wasn't just the average "criminal lawyer" as Jesse says, he is indeed a criminal lawyer but he truly cares about people around him. And in BCS we get to understand that he tried his best to be a "good guy" but he ends up failing miserably everytime he tries to get things right and thrives over wrongdoings, in the end, accepting what Chuck said in their last encounter: embracing that he'd always be like that and not regretting anymore. Anyway, about the 2 episodes: I got REALLY bored with this Nacho stuff. For real. I couldn't feel any tension or whatever because I just kept wondering WHAT THE FUCK Gus was thinking when he LED Bolsa's guys to Nacho. I mean, Nacho wouldn't want to snitch him out because of his father's safety, but if they ended up torturing him so badly (or even threatening his father!) he would eventually spill Gus' name and shit would be all over for him. Why not get the MF and make him disappear alongside his father? Send them to freaking far away, give them new ID's... Or just straight up kill him and destroy the body to make it impossible for anyone to know about it. There were so many ways he could've dealt with this situation and IMHO he chose the worst one. Of course things go well in the end but man was it boring to have to watch Nacho running and hiding. I was glad when that part was over and we could move on. About Jimmy shenanigans with Howard, I haven't seem yet the rest of 6a (just the first 2 episodes and started to rewatch it with my wife that haven't seem the show before) but I had a feeling it would end up fuckng Howard pretty badly... and then hit a spoiler without any alert that he dies... So I was in the right direction... Let's see about that. But it's always amazing to see Jimmy doing what he's good at, and if you throw Kim in the picture with him, it gets even better. For me, BCS is alongside Kieffer Sutherland's 24, the 2 best shows ever written BY FAR at this point.

I appreciate you commenting man, I’m sure there are flaws in Better Call Saul, but there are not many flaws in the show from what I saw. Your criticism about Nacho running and hiding being boring is purely opinionated on your part imo. For me it was quite tense, and made me unsure on what could happen next. Now the part with Gus’s plan, his plan was for him to hopefully get killed by the Salamanca’s, to make sure he does, that’s why he’s got the watcher. However, he knocked out the watcher. Which is what Gus definitely didn’t expect, since the watcher would have told Gus what was going on, and his crew would’ve disposed of Nacho anyway. If Gus got rid of Nacho, immediately after the night he was killed, it would’ve looked suspicious. It would’ve looked even more suspicious if he managed to find Nacho before the Twins did. I will admit that Gus’s plan is flawed in a couple of ways, but I think Gus’s main weakness is that he sometimes underestimates how smart his enemies are. I’m pretty sure he thought the watcher would’ve never been found, but he was. Unfortunately, Gus just can’t kill him outright because of suspicion, so Gus has to retort to this plan. Which is flawed, but I don’t know what he could’ve done to control the situation without causing suspicion. The only thing that would’ve worked is Nacho being immediately lured to Gus, and then getting shot on the spot. And I think that’s what Gus was thinking of doing in episode 3, but then compromise with a different plan. Hope this explained everything well enough, thanks again for your feedback man!

@@introvertedrobot Yes I agree with most of what you're saying, I think the easiest solution was for Gus to use that watcher to kill Nacho in a way that wouldn't draw attention and have someone to carry his body and dispose it somewhere in the desert. It could even be done better if he had some skilled guy after Nacho and the guy didn't kill him right away, making him sleep and then killing him in a way that it'd look like he died of dehydration in the desert or something like that. And yes the part of Nacho running and hiding being boring is purely my opinion, I had it in my mind at all times that "something" had to happen to him. Either he'd be found and killed, or he'd make a way to disappear alongside his father. And since something "had" to happen to him I just wanted to know what it would be and skip the proccess of "cat and mouse" and paranoia of being watched, y'know? Nevertheless, it's an amazing show and your comments were very good. Hope you'll be reviewing the next episodes! I read in another comment you saying that would wait for the whole thing to be over to review, but I think this reviews of a couple episodes are really nice since you can talk a lot about them and the video still is not an hour long. Would be very happy to hear your thoughts about the rest of 6a!

@@HenriqueSouza-hu3ti I can see what you mean! However, I think it would be nearly impossible to kill Nacho without Nacho struggling, or there being signs of a struggle with his body! Although, even against the Salamanca Twins (probably one of the best hit men in BB and BCS) Nacho still has a good chance. I feel like Mike is probably the most skilled, but even then I don’t think he would agree with himself killing Nacho. Also, I’m glad you enjoyed my thoughts on the video! I was planning on reviewing the whole of 6A, but decided to hold off since my opinion might change depending on the episode! And it also feels more clean just doing it as a whole! But my thoughts on 6A if I were to put it simply: my favourite season of Better Call Saul, I never found myself bored, and always left me wanting more in a good way! I think the best episodes of this season were definitely 6x03 and 6x07. But I would say that this whole season has been a blast, and I haven’t had many problems with the season as a whole, mostly nitpicks, and only like 2 contrivances! So but this is definitely one of the best seasons of TV I’ve ever seen! And I’m super excited for 6B to come out!

Anyone else wish we could just see a limited amount of Saul and a shitload more cartel storyline? They get too stupid cute w the Saul stuff 🤢
@introvertedrobot

Nah, I think there's a perfect balance between the cartel side, and the lawyer side. I think in 6b the cartel and lawyer stuff will interlink together. I mean wishing we didn't get more Saul stuff is kinda silly since this is called Better Call SAUL. But to each their own!
