Preface: In case you missed either of my 2 recent community posts, I had a plan to upload 2 combo videos, that are nearly the same video, for Poison. I didn't do this to confuse anybody, or even boost my numbers (lol). During development, I tried different styles and arrangements, and came up with the 2 different versions here. I decided to publish them both because I thought they were both good and figured maybe people would like seeing both versions than not even know about a 2nd version, had I chosen not to publish it. I do think this is the better version if I had to choose only one. And now, if you've seen the other one, you can decide for yourself which you like more. If you haven't seen the other one, because you read my community posts, and were waiting for this one, I hope this video doesn't disappoint you. Enjoy!

As a "rekka character" Omega Poison faces the same concern regarding how she could be rebalanced without making her too strong. She's very much the same character, toned down in some ways but compensated by getting some new combo routes from a couple new moves, plus improved damage and stun potential.
--------------------------------
Main changes:
First, I have to say that one big change is that Omega Poison's hurtbox was adjusted/normalized from her USF4 version, which is something that actually makes me feel good about using this character. Many characters' combos that would drop on her USF4 version now likely work.
close MP - Has faster start up and hits more consistently on crouchers. Also forces standing.
jump HK - Hits twice and juggles airborne characters. The juggle isn't floaty like other characters' juggling jump attacks, so the use is a bit more restrictive. It can hit twice on jump ins, but it's not guaranteed.
Whip of Love (rekka): Nearly identical to her USF4 version. The repetitions can come out faster, and has better combo potential when FADC'd on the 2nd hit. EX Whip of Love no longer has 4 repetitions. It's now a canned EX special move that causes a soft knockdown always. The first hit can be FADC'd and causes a crumple state.
Love Me Tender (flip kick): now does the soft knockdown followup automatically, so it can't be linked from anymore. All versions do 190 damage. EX does 200 damage.
Aeolus Edge (fireball): Can be charged to do 2 hits by holding the button down. Strength determines speed and distance. EX has 2 versions. L+M and M+H do a standard EX fireball. L+H does a sort of protective EX fireball which travels a very short distance.
Thunder Whip (Super): Can combo into Light Kissed by a Goddess (DP) in the corner. I tried many other ways of combo'ing from her super, but that was the only thing I could find.
--------------------------------
New moves:
"Ascension" A heel kick done with reverse dragon punch+K (421+K) causes a limited juggle state which can be jump canceled into jump or any special attack. It can cancel into Ultra, but it doesn't combo. EX can be jump canceled on block.
"Honey Trap" A very peculiar sort of anti-air attack that can combo from Ascension. It does 5 damage and 280 stun when it lands raw. The EX version is substantially slower and costs 2 bars. It has some application in knockdown scenarios.
--------------------------------
Creator's Notes: I started compiling this footage in November 2021, on my birthday in fact. Much like with Hugo, when I first started labbing Poison, I thought "what do you even do with this character?" She seemed like a worse version compared to USF4. But then I eventually figured out she can jump cancel her heel kick, and that basically became the whole reason for making this video.
I wanted to put this video out in February of last year, because of her personality, and how it seems fitting for the season. I think I didn't publish hers because I had put out other character's videos around that time instead, and I didn't want to just cram the month with videos I've been putting a lot of work into. Also that was around the time I was still uploading in 720 and 30fps. I like to think I've refined my process since then, and am glad to put her video(s) out now.
Lastly, the "Better Not Touch" title is directly inspired by Alice Cooper's song.... "Poison".
