A bonus video for you this week! There will still be a Sunday video, as well. Hopefully no one will complain that I posted an extra video this week. ;) I also want to thank you all for the overwhelming positive feedback on my last video! It blew my mind in a good way. You weren't a John Denver fan growing up!? Thank goodness you changed you ways, lol! I remember playing his songs on the jukebox back in the day. One in particular I played a lot at our family summer vacation lodge in Lake of the Woods, Ontario Canada. We went there every summer for two weeks, and it's still one of my favorite childhood memories. One year in particular, I developed a teenage crush on a girl whos family was there at the same time we were. Thankfully her parents and my parents became friends and we'd go visit them from time to time thereafter. The one song in particular was John Denver's "Annie's Song". Yeah, I was only a teenager, but an old soul. If you haven't listened to it before, check it out. Sorry, that story became a little long winded. I can definitely relate to your distain for hotel rooms. I hate them. If I can help it, I'll never stay in one again. Shouldn't be a problem since I have a truck camper. Glad you got your truck fixed, Cat! Wow, that bill is a little steep, but it's fixed. :) Nice cooler! Anker makes good stuff. Why do I get hungry every time I watch one of your videos, haha! Good thing your ceiling lights don't stay stuck up, lmao. I saw you pause for a second after saying that. I have the same stuck up lights too. They're great. You've got your truck camper setup dialed in. Nice job! Thanks for the bonus video!!

Hello Catherine, I have been a follower for some time now and enjoy your stories of travel. Saw a video from about a month ago where you were speaking on the subject of rude people and comments, I can tell that you are a kind soul which I know makes it harder to understand how those people live in the world as they do. But what I've also learned,,, when people are judging you it doesn't define your character-it defines their character as someone who needs to judge to feel better about themselves

I have a similar setup. My campervan is a standalone rig with everything I need for comfortable overnighting. I use a heater buddy to take the chill off before I rise in the morning. I also have a travel trailer which has amenities the van doesn't offer. So typically I will find a place I want to explore and drop the trailer. Then use the van for close-in travel for exploration. The trailer has built-in heating/AC which is perfect for boondocking.

I have that same utensil organizer thing. I love it. The Anker cooler looks amazing. I have yet to camp in my vehicle. Car camping always meant driving your car to somewhere to set up a tent. Times they are a changing. I’ll try the new version of car (sleeping in your car) camping this season…’only issue, I have a car, not the room you have.

Looks great! I’m jealous. Just let me highly recommend a patio-door sized bug screen for that back opening. Available at the unnamable online site that delivers everything…I think most styles are typically split in the middle with magnets sewn into the edges that self-close. I use earth magnets from hardware store to secure the bottom edge. It has been a life saver at many sites in the SE! Plus, for anywhere in the country, you can sleep with the doors open and have at least a little material between you and the great outdoors. Great job!
