Thanks a lot for reviewing this. I have a lot more confidence in using this in the future 😊

It's definitely readable! I have my preference on books of this caliber, but I have full faith that most students tasked with reading it should be able to. I have some more discussion in the description (just in case you haven't seen it yet). Thank you for your comment and the request. 😁

"Better than Boyce and DiPrima" is the Mathematical Toolbox equivalent of Uncle Roger saying a TV chef is "better than Jamie Oliver"

Had to look up this reference XD. I thought of you and got some mathematical economics books. I'll be discussing them on my final tour of my bookshelf/mail haul video. You might have heard of them already. It's a set of four books by Simpson.

I had a look in the past on it, but my impressions were not positive. Exact ODEs are not covered IMHO well and no mention on integrating factors to make them exact, and that for me is a deal breaker.

being better than Boyce and Diprima is a pretty low bar but the book looks good thanks for the review

Mastering Algebra: An Axiomatic Approach 2nd edition by Roger Oster seems like a obscure book that at least from the description seems pretty original. I wonder if you can review it please. I want to order it to my country but am still a bit scared it will be a disappointment.

Sure. Do you need it by a certain date? Eg. Before the start of the next semester in January. What country do you live in, if you don't mind me asking? I don't have use for such a book, so maybe I can just send it to you if shipping isn't too expensive.

@@MathematicalToolbox I live in Romania. The book should be absolutely unique in how it teaches algebra ignoring all the superfluous and often confusing "rules" found in many modern algebra textbooks (like the butterfly rule, the invert-and-multiply rule, the cross-multiply rule, P.E.M.D.A.S., and so on and on.). The number of rules he uses to understand and perform algebra is reduced to the bare-minimum. Can you just order it, keep it for one week, one week and a half to be able to do it justice and be able to read most of it and make a review and just ship it back and get your money back since you live in America and you are lucky to free shipping and I think 30 day money back? I would feel very bad If I took advantage of your generosity to have to book gifted like that. I am to be honest even shocked you would do such a incredible gesture for me a complete stranger. Let's just say where I live those kind of acts are incredibly incredibly rare.

I'll have to end up doing just that, yes. Apparently, shipping is much more expensive than I had thought, around 37 euros. I was trying to see if shipping would be cheaper if I could just ship the book to you from Amazon, but I couldn't figure out how. Send me your email so I can have it on file, and maybe I can send you pictures of a few pages when the book comes in. Sad to hear that. You guys are (hopefully!) my subscribers. You take the time to comment and watch. Also, you were in need, so if I can help you, then I will. I am trying to do for others what my father has done for me.

I'm definitely not rich. I am very fortunate, though. If I was rich, then I'd send him the book even though shipping was $40 USD to Romania!
