Then you're not the market they're gearing to. There are many who will pay these prices, you're just not one of them. If demand wasn't high, they wouldn't exist.

I agree with you Mr. C….. you can buy a brand new home for that. We must be the wrong poorly paid working crowd, the one who does the real work for the C- level, and who doesn’t have cash to use to start their high price campfires…. Nothing to do with capitalism… just overwhelming glut on unnecessary bells and whistles.

Revel looks better on the exterior, I like the cleaner look. I don't like to see the exterior speakers on the Jayco. The Jayco Terrain has the nicer interior. I like the tilt and space function of the rear passenger seats. The revel needs to level up the interior.

I ordered this van a while ago up here in Canada. Still waiting for it, but one key thing to note is that the battery is 10 kwh, at 48 volts, so equivalent to 860 ah at 12 volt. Can run the AC for 11 hours at medium setting, especially since the AC is already at 48 volts.
@1111111111202

any idea how long you can run the ac for with the car engine? i m in canada too in southern ontario and our summers get super hot even at night needs ac often.

@@1111111111202 right on, yep I'm near Toronto but travel all over Ontario for my kids' motocross races. I have been told that it can run AC for 10 to 14 hours from medium to low from a full battery. Right now we have been camping in a tent and using a Go Sun 1.2 kwh portable battery in our tent trickle charged by either solar panels or via my Mitsubishi Outlander Plug in Hybrid. My sons race with Electric MX bikes and I'm able to charge their bikes and keep up with the tent battery needs (12 volt fridge cooler, devices and cooking) off of 8.7 kwh from the car plus 1.2 kwh Go Sun. So I would recommend getting a secondary 100 watt solar panel for the plug at the ground level of the van and powering your other devices with a Jackery type portable battery to save as much power from the 10.8 kwh in the Jayco. I'm not sure if you're able to charge the house batteries in an idle diesel state or if you have to actually drive 2 hours. 300 watts of solar on a sunny day will keep things at a decent level of charge. But I have found that in the heat, the fridge has to work way harder and the demand exceed by about 30% on power draw. You'll want to have a full house battery in the van to run AC all night. I have been using the battery to cook using two steam style devices and the draw is 400 watts, so cooking with wood via a Biolite cooker or using a Jet Boil saves your battery by a lot. I am also looking at the portable AC unit called the Mach 2 as the AC in Jayco and Revel are more focused on the garage sleeping area. So if you have others sleeping in the front of the van, it won't be that cool. Hope that helps.

Whole video feels like the salesman and host are racing each other, in deepthroating Jayco (whom I’m a fan of). But calling the Renergy system 42V, thought maybe he meant 24V and he just misspoke, but then he calls the fridge a 12V. Dude doesn’t have any understanding and is just repeating keywords. Also saying “you can’t upgrade this further” when it’s running tiny tires. Absolutely zero credibility.

Nitrogen in the tires...with an air compressor in case you air down your tires. Does that air compressor magically pull nitrogen from the air to refill the tires with nitrogen? Of course the answer is no. The inclusion of nitrogen in the tires from the start is a waste, and mentioning it as a selling point is a joke.

I wonder if it has the ESC - stabilization control that the ProMaster has. The 2021 ProMaster has all the features of the Benz(cruise control, lane assist, blind spot warning, instant restart, and the ESC. The ESC is a wonderful thing when driving during high winds situation. It was amazing how it helped my Tellaro to be stable despite the winds. Pretty scary time last winter. I needed a shorter one though so looking if I should get the 144 or the 18M.

A few videos on YT testing the new 2 litre twin turbo four cylinder with the new permanent four wheel drive and the feedback is very positive. The new engine might be smaller but has more power and faster pickup, and the permanent four wheel drive means if you encounter rough or slippery conditions you don't have to stop to engage all wheel drive.
