Hey buddy im the guy with J6 of diamonds. Been waiting for this vlog to come out to see your analysis. Just to clarify i was small blind, you were in middle position, and the other opponent was high jack. You raised pre flop. High jack call and i call. The flop , i check you check and high jack bets the flop. I call and i see you call which confuses me as well because I would think you would continue with a c bet with such a strong draw. However when you check and high jack bets i was hoping you was going to fold which you didn't. Scary. When the turn brings the third diamond i check, you check, and high jack bets again. High jack was a player i was targeting wanted the max from him. However when you called my raise only two hand beat me here. Your snap raise oit the fear of God in me and only can determine you had the nuts. Welcome to WA hope to have more memories with you in the near future. Happy New Year my new poker Buddy.🎉🎉🎉🎉😊

Yea if I just call on the turn what do you do on a brick river? I think if board pairs or another diamond comes you shut down, but IDK about what you do with a brick. I'd think you'd put me as either a fish who can't get rid of Aces or Kings or that I have a monster flush...hell of a fold by you! Pretty sure I was UTG or +1 there and the guy you were targeting was right behind me (you were in seat 2 if I'm not mistaken); since 8-handed I believe he was LJ. Again, hell of a fold and looking forward to seeing you again soon.

@@pokerforpoundpupsI think your 3 bet on that turn card is only the nuts 100000000% of the time. I’m flatting there always and hoping the other player calls behind. Based on his flop sizing it’s very unlikely he has a set or two pair, so not a ton of worry about him boating up. You gave him an easy fold with that Uber strong raise. Basically turned your hand face up.

Yeah. When you put it that way I can't disagree. I think you're right, flatting is the way to go and just hoping for a brick. Thanks for your feedback man!

@@pokerforpoundpupsspread limit also puts you in a weird spot here, because bluff raising basically isn’t a thing as you have no fold equity with a min raise, therefore you’ll have only value. In other words, you could never be doing this with a single diamond holding like AK with the ace of diamonds which would be really your only bluff in this spot. That leaves you with the nuts only. All that being said, it’s easy for me to armchair quarterback.

Strong play, man! It's great to see. The hand where you had the nut flush and raised on the turn, personally I think I would have just called....but I do see your logic in raising there. Who knows, you very well could have gotten the call, too , so it's hard to say exactly what the right play is there. I really do appreciate the hard work you put into these videos. Keep it up man! As always I look forward to your future uploads. Vegas should definitely give you some awesome content. 👌 Happy New Year!

Yeah man, I think you're right that calling is the better option. The fact that I have the Ace and the Queen, with the King on the board, is kind of crazy that he'd show up with a flush. But you never know with single-raised pots from the blinds. If he happens to have a set and the board pairs, the max he can bet is $300 so I'd just pay him off. If I just call the turn I probably make at least another $300, maybe even another $600. *Sigh* Bad of him to play J6, but one helluva fold. Thanks for watching, Happy New Year to you as well, Nathan!

Nice vlog. I think you need to cut slow playing out of your game. You end up losing so much value. You also choose weird spewy spots to get aggressive and raise. Like that KQ hand. Whst are you repping when you check raise there? Line makes no sense and you don’t have much fold equity against a range that consists of mostly top pair or trips. Think about the story you’re telling when you raise or take a line like that. Just blasting chips into the middle isn’t always going to work and you’re not going to get bailed out by top pair on the river often. Just my two cents!

Appreciate the feedback! That KQ hand I was more so making a play off of not believing my opponent, thinking that they'd fold based off of what they had and the aggression they were facing, but you're totally right about needing to think about my story as well. Thanks for the feedback!

Someone complained and they asked me not to film there anymore. I still stop by to play for fun now and then, but kind of a bummer that I can't vlog from Fortune anymore.

Other than fortune I can’t think of solid card rooms in the Seattle area besides the place near Tacoma which name escapes me. It’s close to emerald queens is all I can think of. Stronger field if I’m being honest

Great session! K10 hasn’t treated you well lately but I like that hand, especially calling mid raises. I think it has a good chance against mid and low pairs… it’s a 40% to Broadway 😊
