R.I.P. Betty White ~ What a shock that she passed away only weeks from celebrating her 100th birthday. She was not only was our National Treasure, she was a Global Treasure. She blessed us all with her quick humor and her rememberable characters. May she make all the angels and God laugh thunderously and smile brightly in Heaven.

The difference between Lucille Ball and Betty, was that Betty was charming and humble, while Lucy carried her head high. In one of her interviews she called Desi Arnaz, a loser. That's the kind of thing you just don't do. That's why Betty White was such a treasure. Betty spoke ill of no one. Betty didn't demand respect, she earned it!

@@patrickhearther I am 71, for a long time. I still don't know where Betty White is laid to rest. I think her fans deserve to know. Desi Arnaz was brilliant and Lucille Ball was amazing, her talent unparalleled. I never heard her husband say anything out of line about her. She had a lot to say. They made their empire together, so don't call him a loser!

When Bea and Estelle died she cried and missed them both. But, when Rue died, it was different story. Betty and Rue were very, very close on The Golden Girls set and remained best friends when the series ended, both of them kept in touch. So, when Rue died, to her it was like grieving all over again about her husband Al. So, she really was broken hearted when Rue died. She talked to Rue, the same week she died in the hospital. Betty was so positive that Rue would live longer, because in an interview, she said Rue' speech was getting better and Rue was starting to get better, but at the last minute Rue died quick from a stroke. Betty really loved Rue so much, that I do not think she really ever got over Rue's death. But Betty has chosen to remain positive and think positive in her 90's. When ever she talks about her husband or Rue, she always starts to cry and I want to cry with her. I love the Golden Girls. Bea was my favorite, but I loved all four of them equally.

First of all, his name was Allen. He & Betty's mom were her moral compass. What disappoints me is Bea called Betty the C word the Rue did. None of us are perfect but vulgar terminology is not cool! We are all different so we're not going to get along all the time so the thing to do is handle it like a mature adult & empower each other rather than tear each other apart calling each other names especially vulgar names. Name calling is childish to begin with. I'm a huge fan of Betty❤❤

@@lindaharris6200 Yes, I saw a clip of Bea's memorial service and Rue did say that at the time. To me it is hearsay. Because I myself never witnessed Bea calling Betty that ugly word. Bea and Betty are not here anymore to explain and defend themselves. and I hope their souls are in heaven. At the end of the day The Golden Girls is my all time favorite program with wonderful and well written scripts.

May she rest in peace. She's a beautiful human being, did she have any children or family "members" and what to become of her "dogs" Betty you did ''well'' and now it you get to be with your beloved husband, you have worked hard for so "long" it's time you rest, and you'll be with all of the other that have gone on before, R I P.

The statement "One of today's most popular and respected actresses" sounds serious and is true. Then you see this image at 00:37 and she looks so adorably cute like a sneaky playful kid that you want to pinch her cheeks and hug her!!!

She died after being locked away the last few years of her life …in isolation..her beloved dog Pontiac died approximately two years ago…and she didn’t want to get another cause she felt she wouldn’t outlive it. Betty lived to be amongst ppl….She has neither ppl nor pets her last few years. Makes it very hard to be alone … my heart goes out to her. RIP BETTY ….you were one of the few jewels left in Hollywood.

betty told larry k. that she didn't know if there was life after death or 'nothing', that she'll know the 'secret' when she dies. there is no 'secret' because the truth was told 2000 yrs ago. since betty doesn't 'know' that means she doesn't have a Savior. betty was loved by thousands, made people laugh, was rich and famous, but what has she got now? *Rev 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the 'faithless', the detestable, for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, & all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire & sulfur, which is the second death.” 'now' betty knows the 'secret' but is it too late? did she ever repent? Only God knows. we know, God never contradicts himself; he says what he means and he means what he says. who are 'u' living for?
