I do own a different trailer, and I took a few years to pick out the one that fit my needs. Having said that, the biggest thing about your trailers is the fiberglass. There is another full composite trailer made in Canada but I like the wood finishes. Also a kitchen in the rear as opposed to a pull out on the side is much better and free from wheel mud splatter. Great video. Love Drew and his family.

I have to add one more comment. I bought my trailer 2yrs ago and since the company raised their prices. As they should. These trailers are crafted with durability in mind, not like mass produced with cheep 1/8 th inch pressed paper board with 1"X2" frames. Your prices are set right for the moment. And we all hope you can keep your production costs down and efficient.

My fam and I have always been tent campers, but i have been eyeballing teardrops for 3-4 years running through the decision process in my head and Bean has been my top choice for a few years. The fiberglass body and resulting durability is what seals the deal. I think my purchase is a question of when, not if.

Great video guys. I love the Bean review videos. You guys provide a ton of information. I’m not going to lie, I was on the fence with this and another trailer, but it was Drew’s review of the Bean Stock that convinced me that this is the one for me and my family. Hopefully early next year when I get my new Bronco we can make this official.

@@bluwasabi7635 will do. I’m on Bronco6G under Aggie2000. I’d love to share my experience and pics when it’s all said and done, however I’m no so social media expert like Mark and Drew. I’m a regular boring guy who would rather enjoy the time outdoors than take a million photos and videos. And to be honest, no fault of Ford, but it may be 6-8 months before I even get my rig.

Really interesting discussion! I am curious about simmer control on the stove. I've heard this unit is not great and simmer control for how I cook is KEY! I use a Eureka Ignite Plus which has excellent control. I do LOVE the skottle idea and am thinking about that for sure down the road. I would absolutely go with a Bean! Thanks for your work !! P.S. I have a Hyundai Santa Cruz ( can tow 5,000) and a Bean behind that would be perfect ;-)

Enlightening! This type of information really is frosting on the cake. Fills in so much more information missing in typical marketing, though admittedly I’m not sure how normal marketing would cover it - other than something like this. Thanks!

I held back on a Bean because I have an Outback and now is not a good time to buy a new tow vehicle. Your comments on towing with a Subie was what I wanted to hear! What is the mpg hit while towing with the Outback?
@mark-di5pf
3 жыл бұрын
Depends on accessories. Things like roof rack, roof top tent, awning and even a side mounted spare increase the coefficient of drag. If fuel efficiency is a priority, don't get those things and keep your speed under 70. Mileage hit is 25-40% depending on accessories and speed.

How does the Subaru Outback Wilderness tow heavier Bean models like the Black Bean? Thanks.
@mark-di5pf
2 жыл бұрын
Black is not a good match for a Wilderness. Black has a 350ib tongue weight which is too much for the Sub. Mean is the best match in terms of weight and off road capability.

Looks like bean is now quoting 90 day lead times instead of the 7-8 months they quoted me back in February. Man, could of used the quick turn around back then, lol. Oh well, our next trailer will be a bean.
