Very true. I had a very similar experience. We care about others and the world around us so we felt motivated to encourage others to join us but after many years I also realized the best way is to simply live the life yourself and be an inspiration for others. Everyone must reach their own destination through their own experience. We are like kindred spirits despite vastly different cultural backgrounds. You also inspire and give me strength. Thank you.

This reminds me of something I once read. I forget where and my memory isnt great, but it went something like this: "When was young, I wanted to change the world. When I couldn't change the world, I tried to change my country. I couldn't change my country so I tried to change my town. And when I couldn't change my town, I tried to change my family. Now that I am old, I realise I should have changed myself. By changing myself I would inspire my family to change, my social circle to change, my town, my country and eventually the world. It is I who have to change." Lead by example. Or to paraphrase Gandhi, 'be the change you want to see in the world"

I thank you so much for everything! Even if nothing changes in my life because of you, it is still extremely important to hear what you have to say about life, I’m constantly searching for wisdom and advice and try to share with others.

True, I sometimes force others to be like me because I feel like it would be better if people around me were like me, but it only encourages conflict and just makes me tired so the best solution is what you said, to just be yourself and do the right thing for you then other people will just effortlessly join you.

Thank you and Merry Christmas. You are the reason we moved from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. I also an engineer from BKK had enough of the rat race. We are currently renting but looking and saving money to buy land to build an off grid house and farm. Thank you so much for your wise words and encouragement. We came to visit you in Mae Taeng, but unfortunately you were in the USA. Lovely people at your property in Mae Taeng and awesome Eathen houses.

I need to speak less and be aware of myself. I need to let others speak and I need to listen. The problem is with me and not them. Over the years I have learned not to stress or worry about things and can remain calm in a crisis. People mistake my not being worried and remaining calm about things, with my not understanding or not caring about a situation. Even after I tell people that I understand what's going on and why I am not worried about things that are beyond my control, they still don't understand. I'm not a master at it but it's working for me. Now though, I need to learn how to listen more and speak less. Once again, it will take time but I think it's a skill that is worth mastering.

Yes very good thinking and a good piece of realization one of the most important steps is training our children so that they see a value and what it is that you're trying to preach to the neighbors instead of sending them out to the mainstream schools and universities which are nothing but slaughterhouses for the mind the only become corrupted and it feeds their Greed for more and more consumption and money completely the opposite of what it is that you're trying to do

Hi Jon, I’ve been your subscriber for some time and I learned from your experience. Thank you It is selfish for me to ask this but if you want to, can you talk about how to fill myself up? I’ve been feeling empty, drained and tired. I have responsibilities and i cannot let them go even for a few minutes. I feel guilty when i lay down not doing work. My head feels cloudy. I am grateful for having this body and ability to help people. But i feel forced to help them due to my work. I just want to rest but i don’t know how. Please help me.

Hi jon, my name is momo, I am from China I was traveling in Thailand recently and suddenly remembered that I saw your speech a few years ago. I looked for it again and found out that your hometown is in the northeastern part of Thailand. Don't know where you are now I was in Loei recently If it's convenient, I hope I can visit you and have a chat with you😊

Thank you very much for your reply. I have a general understanding of the situation in the PunPun community. My itinerary in Thailand has been fixed this time. I thought you were still in the northeast of Thailand and the journey is not too far. Chiang Mai is not in my itinerary plan. If I come to Thailand next time, I will go directly to Chiang Mai to participate in your part-time volunteer activities. Thank you again and wish you and other friends in the community a Happy New Year in advance!♥@@JonJandaiLifeisEasy

I think at the very beginning you got only 2000 sq.ft to do organic farming but in this video you are saying, you got 10,000 sq.ft.

Oh, come on, old monk .. farming is totally different from the world 🌎 geopolitical system... one can not do much, but registering your mind with an algorithm would make more sense than a hands-on approach. .
