In the last few days I have studied this and listened to this talk multiple times. Powerful and true. At first I was convicted by this in every sentence. I was so convinced that I felt a need to speak to my Bishop for council. I must say that I am resolved to repent of this sin as it has been the root to my unhappiness for years. I ponder all of the sadness that this sin has caused and how much sadness I have caused, but true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, there is a way to correct this great evil. Thank You President Benson for having the inspiration for this talk. A true voice from the dust that resonates throughout eternity. God bless us all that we might repent of this and may the Saviors love replace this sin of pride.

I must agree with the heart-felt comments. I thought of myself as a Loser most of my life. The principles in this talk if followed can lift you up or humble you depending on the corrections you need in your life. I've found this prophetic warning useful whether I need a boost out of lies that I have no value, or if I need my "wings clipped" when I start taking for granted the huge (I mean HUGE) blessings in my life instead of giving daily thanks. Here's a HUGE thanks to all who heed the prophet's voice and elevate The Team so we are successful in the playoffs as we approach The Second Coming...

Because of President Benson's health, he asked that President Hinckley read it for him. This is mentioned at the very beginning at :05 and restated at :29 by President Hinckley. Regardless, both are remarkable men, and truly prophets of the Lord. A talk to take to heart and remember as much today as ever. :)
