The economy didn’t reduce because he spent money and bought products, goods, and services, the economy tanked because of the free gold that he distributed to the poor in his pilgrimage to Mecca. Economies become stronger when the flow of currency is circulated. However, by distributing unfathomable quantities of gold. I’m doing so, the value of gold substantially decreased. Remember kids, scarcity = value, conversely, abundance = worthlessness. Supply and demand play into that equation as well. If a rare item has an enormous market, than that item can be sold at a ridiculously high price. In fact, in some cases the seller can almost name any obscene price. On the other hand, if you have billions of something and there is zero demand, the item is worthless and it would even be hard to give away!!! 😂😂😂

Somewhat true, but the worlds economy survives off of gold today. Not Oil anymore, and still it's at it's highest price ever. At $1,964.00 an ounce.

Scarcity doesn’t directly equal value. Demand dictates value. There is only one of my paintings in the world. But no one gives a duck about me. So it’s worthless.

Mansa Musa was the brother of the true ruler. Who is Mansa Abubakari. Mansa stands for Sultan. So Mansa Abu left his brother in charge of the Empire to explore the world. He pursued knowledge as a Geographer instead of ruling his country. He had reached America 180 yrs. before Columbus. His brother Mansa Musa became the richest man in the world, because of how much Gold his country had. I'm still studying ancient history on Africa and it's King's and people. There is so much more that we don't know. I'm glad to share with you what I know. Mali is in West Africa, so when Mansa Abu left to explore the world. He set out west with about 300 ships. With soldiers, and servants, and food for all, and most of all with Gold. 👍😎
