On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Tiger 2022, the Saint John Paul II National Shrine held its third annual celebration of “Christianity Beyond East and West”. This year's theme was "A Celebration of Enduring Hope"
This virtual event offers an experience of the inculturation of the Gospel in Chinese culture and an introduction to the wisdom of Chinese traditions. This year’s theme is “A Celebration of Enduring Hope”, highlighting the virtues of fortitude, resilience and perseverance so characteristic of the peoples and the traditions of the East.
