Ted turning over was the most intense part. As a Whitewater kayaker I know that can be really intimidating. Y’all handled it well. Love the series I watch with my two boys. You all have inspired us to go 130 miles on a river in Arkansas in a few weeks. we even have a blue barrel and got a Agawa canyon saw, and….fish crisp. we are ready…..thx for the inspiration.

Man, I'm a 31 year old man from Norway and in February this year I found out that I was born with a heart deficiency and my heart was almost twice the size of a normal heart. I had an open heart surgery three weeks ago with some setbacks, but I'm here and alive! I found your channel during this period of waiting for surgery and I just want to thank both you and Ted for doing this. I have had so much fun watching this series through this period, and you two are so real, knowledgeable and very funny indeed! Now I can't wait to get better and go out in the wild again, and you guys have made me want to start go on canoe trips as well! Again, thank you for this and say hello to Ted from me!

Absolutely, you’re welcome and we just have so much respect for these ways and find them to be meaningful and helpful, bringing us more connection to the natural word we clearly can’t get enough of! Yea, the bugs, haha, we just started laughing about it they were so bad but we got used to them more. We knew they’d be bad because of the time of year we went and they were worse that we thought. It was really a magical way to end the river, like too perfect…like maybe our prayers had something to do with it? Thanks so much for watching!!

Really perfect choice of path through those rapids, and in my opinion from what I could see in your video, pretty much the only way. It can be hard to follow the chosen path but you did just great there. could have been very bad if you had come just a tad off course. I did quite a bit of whitewater canoeing in Swedish lapland when I was younger, loved it but sometimes it was kind of risky particulary with the cold water, we didnt have any of those dry suits back then.

That’s amazing, I have actually canoes the South Nahanni when I was about 22 and did a self guided trip with my brother. It cost us 3k each which was a lot of money, particularly back then but it got us hooked on these trips. We ferried across the river from town and climbed Nahanni Butte. I brought back a busted open geode from the top. When we started paddling away, there was rain over the village.
