@StewdioGamer

Honestly this is not a plug and play system. In general, if you have the newest graphics driver and bios that’s the first step. Update your vram through the bios to 6GB. Make sure your TDP matches the game you are playing. You don’t need the max TDP to play most games unless it’s a big AAA title. Update your in-game graphics settings to low. Most games can run at 60 FPS or more at 800p and even 1200p depending on the title. I have a legion go video that shows you where to get the driver/bios for the USA.

@StewdioGamer

I would say the Steam Deck or ROG Ally is probably better. D-pad on the steam deck is great but just depends if performance wise the fighting games you want to play do well on the deck. If not go with the ally. Both cheaper for 512gb right now than legion go.

The lack of _VRR_ is a hard sell. I'm no expert, but can that be added via software, or is it a hardware set back?
@StewdioGamer
9 ай бұрын
It is a bummer that it’s not included but that doesn’t take away from it being good against its competitors. From what I’ve read it’s the screen that’s the issue so software wouldn’t fix that. The ally is the only one that has it right now I believe. If that’s a priority than the Ally is probably better for you. Those are much cheaper in the US right now at Best Buy too.

Really its not that easy. Kinda depends on what games you want to play and how you want to play them. I feel like all 3 mainstream handhelds right now kinda have their own use cases. Id say SD OLED or Legion GO make the most sense with the rog ally being a decent middle ground.
