The few real gangsters that I've met never really messed with civilians unless civilians tried them. In gang life or any organized crime, Mafia, Bikers, Crips, Bloods they refer to Non members as "Civilians". It's against the code of conduct to target them and you get no respect by targeting them and can get a violation. Slave mentality persists the same way as the gang mentality does. Crips and Bloods were started by 13 year old kids over 50 years ago... The mentality that keeps them renewed has existed since time immemorial. The Willie Lynch letters were a hoax, but the psychology involved is real. No bandana, blocks, it slave chains are required.

@@PancakeDiaries If social conditioning was the main culprit, every Black American would be self destructive or a part of the same mentality. But as we all know, there are many successful, well educated Black Americans who just made different decisions for their lives, regardless of what circumstances they were born into. Honestly, even in the legal and overt discrimination era, there was less crime in Black communities then than there is now, and many more black Americans valued education as a means of social mobility and not crime, and that was back when we had far less opportunities than now. So, how much further can this slave mentality argument go considering there are literally millions of successful black Americans who want nothing more than peace and prosperity in their communities? The victims of criminal gangs are often hardworking, innocent people in these communities who just want to live in a place where their children can play outside without fear, where then can walk the streets safely at night, and not worry about their homes being broken into. The social conditioning argument can only go so far considering that all black Americans don't behave the same exact way. The gang mentality persists because it's about easy money, fast women, a tough image and the underbelly of our culture is what is being sold to the American mainstream and monetarily enriching a select few. Sadly, there is always someone who profits from the pain of others.

Can anyone answer this… What value has any gang/ gang members ever added to any community? Also why are gangs even allowed in communities when all they do is poison, kill, destroy just about any/everything in communities.

This is a simplified explanation. Alright so boom “gangs” did not start out as what they are today. So take the early Crips and Bloods on the west coast for instance they started out from the Black Panther Party and worked to protect and take care of the black community back when the black community had actual “leaders”. So what happen was J. Edgar Hoover’s COINTELPRO and the work of police helped shut all that down and stop it. One because the black community was doing good for themselves and two they feared that this would result in more Malcoms and Hueys and Fred Hamptons. So cops would find out who the leaders were and arrest them on crimes that had little to no evidence at all. And this would make for the younger ones to rise up and such plus the cops and fbi would take people from these different black neighborhoods and make them informants to find out who the leaders of the gangs were and then once they arrested them and/or killed them the blame would go right to the informant who were no longer useful and you can infer what would then happen to them bc they’re traitors. So since the cops were arresting almost everyone it got harder for them to have jobs bc of criminal records then boom Crack Pandemic happens and this is how they gotta make ends meet so they sell to each other but the fbi and police work to constantly cause division between these gangs and the guns were already there in most neighborhoods for protection against cops and racist anyway. So I’m the beginning the gangs were the real police of the communities bc they were there to serve and protect but now gangs hold no value. Then your second question can really be answered by the info from the first bc essentially they gangs we have now were designed to be this way to stop the growth of the black community and also think about how the KKK was/is legal so why not gangs🤷🏾♂️it’s all bad when you really think abt it

The Italians.....the Irish.....the British hoodlums that migrated from Europe in the early part America help build the foundation of America All had there gangs and the Italian mob became the biggest most powerful of the three that there communities thrived off of the criminal process that transitioned into legit business. The original Blacc gang started out the same route through the Panthers and other orginazations until the system destroyed that and turn into what we see today 😑

😂 at “why are gangs even allowed?” In most cases the residents don’t have a choice. Similar to Mexicans that have to live in an area ran by a cartel. I don’t think they allow them to do it either. Force, fear and corrupt police is all it take to be “allowed”.

That honestly shows how much BG knows. The span of 50 years to 400 is irrelevant...time is still unfolding. You can't compare it to something that played its course and is still taking place today... compared to another social construct of the black community being gangs...and doing the proper research I expect one who lives this life to have already done..shows they blindly live it....
