Okra/Bhindi Sabji
Ingredients
Okra/Bhindi 10 - 15 no.s
Onion 1 medium
Cumin/jeera 1 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Green Chilli 2 no.s
Dry/fresh coconut 3 tbls
Aeseophitida a pinch
Salt ½ tsp
Garlic 7- 8 cloves
Ginger 1 inch piece
Procedure
Cut Okra/Bhindi into small pieces.
Cut onion into small pieces.
Grind garlic, ginger, green chillies, Cumin seeds and coconut and keep aside.
Keep a pan on the gas and add two tblsp oil. Add a pinch of Aeseophitida and add the cut Bhindi and stir fry for five minutes.
Add cut onion and fry till it is cooked.
Add the ground masala, Turmeric and salt and stir well. Continue stirring till the masalas are cooked. It will take around five minutes.
Bhindi Sabji is ready.
