We're definitely on the same wavelength here .. I own a version of Bias FX and I never use it because the interface and constantly having to relogin annoys me, and as you said, a good high gain tone is impossible to find. To anyone else reading this, do yourself a favour and get into the Audio Assault Amp Locker ecosystem. Not only is it one of the leading "all in one" platforms these days, the value for money is incredible, especially now during a sale period. Even if you just use it for the 3d cabs and pair other amp sims with it (like NAM), you can get some fantastic tones with some tweaking.

I am actually shocked how good Amp Locker is! Audio Assault has really bought their A game on it for sure. For the longest time, the Soldano SLO100 from Neural DSP was my go-to amp sim. It is the basis for my favourite tone I always use. Last night, I finally added the Dude Meister to my Amp Locker collection. I think there could be a new king in my collection. The sound quality is amazing. I think those two paired together may become my new go to tone. I'm looking forward to doing some testing for sure.

@@DuFFuL As an Audio Assault fanboy I have everything they currently have. The Amp Locker amps are excellent, Reamp 2 models included, and with the number of 3D cabs between the bundled ones, cab packs and in Reamp 2, you've got close to the versatility of Mikko2 for a lot less money, especially if you were a $10 Reamp 2 upgrade customer. The pedals and post effects are really good too. Pair them with custom IR blends made using Cabinetron (highly recommend looking at that one, too, best IR loader I've ever seen and it just came out), and I'm finding the best guitar tone I've ever had.

@@pelennorDSP I have all the standalone amps as well. Still love them. I hope they bring the classic series into amp locker. I absolutely love the bulldozer! They have come so far!!!

Do you have the first Bias? Compared to other plugin, I really struggle for tone!

I am convinced that the videos that praise these downloads are done by the company. There not really playing through that in the demos, the audio is clearly coming from a different source

I’m not sure they would go that far. It can be alright for rock and blues and I have heard some other KZitemrs get some half good tones out of it. I still love the clean tones as well. Definitely not worth the money though. Not when there are way better alternatives out there!

Line 6 is a strange one. Everyone love their helix and floor pods but they have never updated pod farm. I never understood why. At the time it was great. But bias, I don’t know why I ever bought the second one. I was so disappointed with the first!

I've never tried Bias but I have some experience with Amplitube4 and 5. What's your opinion? I thought Amplitube served my needs well until I tried Neural DSP amps. Neural DSP is the best amp sim in the game imo. Neural amp sims have enough gain even without drive pedals, but Amplitube often feels like its gain is never enough no matter what I do sometimes. ToneX is great but you have to be really carefull if the tone model is well-captured and actually usable in your project + it takes so much time to find your favorite tone and dial it in.

I am a huge fan of Neural stuff. The Soldano slo100 is easily my favourite plugin of all time. Although I am loving amp locker from audio assault as well. I do have amplitube 5. I’ve actually done a video on my channel. I really like it but as you said, you really have to work hard to get usable tones with it.

I don't really play metal stuff though I learned the guitar playing old style rock, so eh, BIAS is fine for all the other stuff, I used to record on TANDY 4 tracks and cassette recorders so having shit like this is unbelievable, cool video though, good insight, I'm not so guitar app aware so good to know....I got the mobile version in a sale and then paid an extra $20 for the elite version so now I have a whole guitar universe in an old iPhone I bought purely to play guitar through, we used to make star trek communicators out of our Lego, this stuff is unbelievable really....

Bias is actually great for rock and blues stuff. My brother is a huge country/blues/Rock player, and he swears by Bias. I do like it as well, especially for clean tones. When I'm talking on my channel, it's purely as a metal player. Thats where I really think Bias does definitely not shine! Thank you for the great comment and for simply watching!!!

Thank you dude. And they guarantee a refund on which you just get automated replies. But it’s all good, because I go out of my way to stop sales for them. They think there slick, but believe me, I’ve already cost them at least 2k in downloads
