Hi Praveen There is something fascinating about cycles in most of the ancient temples, (my view) probably they didn’t want to use petrol and they were environmental friendly. The ancient people didn’t harm the nature and used the natures products very carefully. I think in only one temple (from your video) there was a car else its cycle only. Flowers around and the cycle tyre too in the shape of flowers (no iron used), probably your study will highlight the nature’s usage. Thank you Praveen for this interesting video. Regards

Very simple with out watching the video. They had bikes back then. People think we are evolving getting smarter. Most don't realize the true history. Before the flood there was great technology. Some of that leaked past the flood. Why are there perfect pyramids in Egypt that are more precise then we can do today. Only 3 crains in existence that can lift most of those stones. Why are there massive stone complexes under the ocean. Pyramids in the Caribbean under the water. Why are there massive Mayan cities in the jungles in southern Mexico. People are spoon feed history and taught not to question the science and history they hear and are taught.

The carving we see now is from a restoration done after the 1917 earthquake that damaged much of the temple. The original carvings lacked Balinese or Hindu elements. Later the artist added new lotus wheels and gave Nieuwenkamp a Balinese headpiece and sarong, turning the secular carving into a sacred object due to the Balinese respect for him.

At Pura Dalem Jagaraga, the ‘temple of the dead’, unusual reliefs on the outer wall of the compound are a testament to the Dutch invasion of 1849. The temple suffered heavy damage in the battle, and was later rebuilt with a modern touch. The local craftsmen carved a warship, two biplane fighters swooping down on terrified villagers, a bicycle and two cars, including a Ford Model T flying the Dutch flag, its driver brandishing a pistol. These carvings were interspersed with bucolic scenes, with a man climbing a coconut palm, another man fishing, and children flying traditional kites. Taken together, these glimpses of daily life allude to a tranquil existence before the war.
