Thanks! This answered a lot of questions about the practicalities of these. Most of the examples I've seen were in pretty bad shape from a few centuries under the sea. This one is full scale? I assume that each gun would have a box of pre-loaded breechblocks handy, would there also be a loaders to keep them coming if it was an extended close-range fight?

Most of he original swivel guns loaded the projectile in the barrel and the removable chamber held only the powder. There was also a loader and assistant gunner that kept the firing rate high.

Jeeze, how was your knee after all those times the plank hammered you in 'em? Cannon's a beautiful piece of work, and the firing report really rings in the heart even through these videos.

Hey morecannonfab, its me again, sorry for asking all these questions, but How much will this beauty cost with the larger power chamber for 875 grains, a trial and wheels in metal, and a 26" barrel, something similar to an Armstrong mountain gun. I love it. And can't wait to purchase one of your museum quality creations.

Nice shooting. Evidence of very careful design and fabrication. Now add fin-stabilized discarding sabot and some sights, and you will have the best of the old plus the best of the new. The zombies will not stand a chance.

ok that sound good. How about the maximum powder charge; can we do 875 grains? Or are we limited to 560 grains as the maximum powder charge. Thank you for your reply. Take care Johnny

Depends on your culture set. Europe? China and Japan? Middle East? Or Southeast Asia? (forget about Africa they don't have firearm history except the North Africa) About Canon, cannon came from China. So of course the most advanced early cannon is from China. The breech swivel cannon. In the south of China-Indonesia or kingdoms in Indonesia Archipelago and Southeast Asia-also have that Chinese cannon but they modify it. About gun, it is Europe that have the most advanced early rifle. Flintlock, matchlock, etc.
