It's a beautiful RV, but it still looks like 1980's RV inside. Except, for the appliances, tv's and furniture. The wall coverings, carpet and I guess the choice of colors for the wall with the wood cabinetry and those plain wood doors just gives it that early 80's look a little bit. I would have done dark wood or dark flooring no carpets at all and done a silvery or light grayish walls with and white kitchen cabinets and white marble counter tops and 6 panel wood or fiberglass doors. I guess that's how the owners wanted. But nonetheless, a beautiful RV!

naive comment. If you want to sell something this expensive, you need to design a model in an attractive, contemporary style with a comfortable layout. It's why builders design model home interiors well--to attract buyers. The guts and conveniences of this model look great, but the inside here is just plain ugly and cramped. And that's just plain bad business. Guys, work with an experienced, forward-thinking architect and interior designer to get it right.

I'm sure it's difficult trying to please everyone. But there are basic design principles that one learns at school, like color theory, and how the eye needs to be able to travel through a space with ease. I'd absolutely love to get a chance to speak with someone at Forrest Rivers, Jayco, Keystone, DRV, or Open Range. So that I could collaborate with them on a trial-run, and perhaps releasing them as a special limited edition to their key market dealerships to help shift their design language into a new, and exciting direction. One where beige, and the mismatched wood stains of the cabinet fascias to surrounds are a thing of the past, and ABSOLUTELY NO MORE ALMOND EXTERIORS WITH SWIRLING GRAPHICS! We shouldn't have to pay $12,000 for an exterior that isn't the visual equivalent of room temp oatmeal. Why can't these coaches be a solid color, like medium platinum satin or gloss pearl? Also...... Blue LED accent lighting is the upscale interiors kiss of death! It's quiet literally the quickest way to make any space that's not ultra modern look cheap, and tacky. LEDs are great for creative accent lighting. Especially because they last a long time, they're small, and very efficient. But they don't give off the infrared wavelengths that halogen incandescent bulbs do, and if you have them everywhere at home, and you notice that you're not feeling as chipper or happy during the winter months........ That'd be the reason! Slightly warm white light is the most aesthetically pleasing for interior accent lighting.....PERIOD! And black light switches, surrounds on exterior doors, and seam covers is awful! For the younger, more utilitarian, motocross type demographic toy-hauler applications it's totally acceptable. But it cheapens a unit targeted towards a more laid back type of coach with lighter color scheme. Truly, it does. Holy crap, that was a rant and a half! My sincere apologies. But I'm right.

Hi John, The camper is washer/dryer prepped. It is in the closet around 17.55 minutes in. You could do a combo or stackable style. They do not offer a dishwasher on their advertised option list but sometime they will do them by special request if it will fit on the model. It normally goes in the island and would replace the two lower drawers so you do lose a little storge.

If the axels are each only rated for 7,000 pounds, then how is it that the dry weight of the camper is 14,516? I understand that some of the weight will be born by the tow vehicle, however, it says that you can "load/fill it up" with another nearly 2,000 lbs. Can you educate me as to why the axels would be rated for less than what the trailer weighs even BEFORE loading it?

I think it should have (2) two 8,000 pound axles. But here is an explanation why they have the 7K other than price. You will always have weight on the front jacks or the tow vehicle, you need at least 15% but should have 20% for this size trailer for the truck to handle it better. If you max it out at 16,000 pounds and have 20% on the pin on the tow vehicle you have over 3,000 on the truck and are only 13,000 on the axles. This is nice but it is made for a price point and any extra would raise that price. These are also often hauled to a park and setup on blocks for a couple years, they are full time living and some people will park them at a nice place and stay for a long time.

2 7,000lb axles and a gross weight of 16,500 lbs ? That’s horrible. Axles can handle 14,000 lbs but the sticker says gross weight 16,500 lbs. this will create major problems. I would not accept this fifth wheel. Even the dry weight 14,520 lbs is more than the axles can hold. This rig for full timers needs 2 10,000 lbs axles or 3 7,000 lbs axles

This rv is made for an older generation. Take out all the TV’s. Air conditioner, is it an under mount? If so, if trouble were to happen how hard (labor cost 😳) or easy to repair. Asking for we owned a 40’ Alfa a decade ago and it had an under mount air conditioner with central flow. Sounds nice and quiet like an original home. That is until it went out. We tried to remove it ourselves but realized the RV had to raise off the ground to pull it out or to an RV service dept . with a pit. Next step was to do a HWY WRAP on the RV so we could take it in to an RV service dept. NOT FUN 😳. Shortly afterwards the frig went out. Big solid glass window at the end busted out. We had extra cost of buying apt size washer and dryer. My point is, these rv’s need to be able to maintain wear and tear of the hwy and off grid camping. We downsized quickly and found a 1991 Alfa 33’ and gutted it. We’ve been living full time for 18 years in this RV. She’s safe with the Steele frame instead of the aluminum frames they use today. We did built ins for all our furniture for we all know how expensive rv furniture is and half the size of normal furniture used in stick built homes. My husband recently suggested we remove the 12 ‘ slide and enclose the wall. Reasons for this thought was to make her more off the grid if ever the need should come in our lifetime. Unfortunately my husband of 18 years took his final journey home on Dec. 28, 2018. It’s been a bitter sweet emotional rollercoaster thinking about, do I finish our plans or create my own. It’s certainly not one I’m ready to make but sometimes life moves you into those decisions ready or not. Life should be simple and this rv will give you tons of headaches and less time to enjoy the true intentions of living. Framing, wiring and safety should be your number one concerns. If you need to pay this price for a home on wheels, take my advice, you will worry 100% of the time about not damaging or cleaning that one lane path throughout. One item out of place can become a cluster instantly. When you get to the point of needing a 60,000. plus RV......just fly to your destination and enjoy a rental and then fly back home. Now days if you want to site see a particular area, just rent a car for a week. Pull any of these rv’s off the lot taking it home and it has already depreciated 10-15,000. Not worth the cost nor are they made with your safety in mind but more for the visual candy effect. Love my RV and wouldn’t have changed one day of the 18 years of adventures with my hubby in our 33’ Alfa RV. Good Luck and may your journey hold memories to sustain you in those years when all is left but to reminisce. God Bless!

One is more than enough, if that, I don't have a tv and don't want one.

I love checking out RC's/Camper's etc. but over the years I have noticed it doesn't matter what brand, year it is from, I have not come across any that, accommodate for a family of five and wheelchair accessible in anyway.

I agree. I hate the color of the wood in this one! It looks like something from the 70's. And why is there nasty carpeting under the dining table and cheap lino in the bedroom?
@lethfuil
6 жыл бұрын
The colour design really ist just awful. For me it is not so much the wood (still, could be better), but the walls and floors (and yes, WHY Linoleum in the bedroom? So uncomfortable.) It's a shame, as otherwise this looks really, really nice.

Seriously!!!! However; once inside, I was so excited to see a "2019" yes! "2019' what I thought would be incredible RV! I, like you, with my 21 year old BIG one-lol, would never be able to afford anything like this either lol. I just like watching the videos. Of course, this is beautiful, but, not even close to what I expected for a 2019. POSSIBLY the outside was more interesting for a change! Maybe that's why I couldn't get a full screen and move forward on this one. I normally really like their videos. I apologize for such a long comment!

Two 7000 lb. rated axles yet the dry weight is over 14000 lbs. Sounds like the axles are over loaded even before you load the trailer up with personal possessions. Am I missing something here?
@patb9375

10 to 15 percent of the weight is on the tow vehicle. So to be safe you need a tow vehicle with a cargo capacity of at least 1500 pounds plus what ever you and passengers and there stuff in the tow vehicle weigh. Plus the tow vehicle needs to tow the 14,000 plus weight. So a dually ton or ton and a half. People never realize the cargo capacity of trucks is not very much anymore in many trucks.

My favorite part is the living room, so perfect and design! But I don't like very much the kitchen, and not anough space for 4 people dining. I don't know why but the RV is not big anough for me, (I like as big 5th wheel as possible for some reason 🤗) nice video after all!

I agree with a few of the comments regarding inside design. Do any of these rv designers watch just any HGTV? Just one episode and you would realize that your design is 20 years old. People have moved on with these designs, colors and materials. I have always said the the RV industry has been very slow to update with new interiors, and I don’t get it!
