You ought to see the poplars n Central Park beside king’s daughter’s hospital in Ashland Ky. I run down every few months to see em. We’re talkin 6-10’ers 130-150’ tall they saved from the 1800s…couple white oaks that’d make widest slabs I know of and plenty big beech, maple and others. Been playin electrician lately and 1 little red oak for firewood liked to whooped me…👊🏻

You were certainly made to work for that one! Those tulip poplars can sure get big - I've got a massive one on my property that's not too far from the side of my house - probably 5 to 6 feet at the base. Buckin' sent me over to your channel for a look-see - you've got another subscriber now!

Sorty even with camp, you couldn't sneak up on anyone. Not even if they were challenged visually, are couldn't hear. Cause your making the sound vibrate from the dinosaur burner in the rigid frame, and straight pipe I believe has a way of rattling things itself. Man I don't know how you always seem to have some monster trees to knock over. Take care, and I know it's hot in them woods where the breeze is only enjoyed by hy the tree tops. Stay safe my friend.

Massive brute. Good job. I've been logging 40 years..I was just on a rope and climbing course, the arborist instructor saw that I made my notch about 20% of the diameter of the tree that was left after we rigged out all the limbs. I had a bugger of a time getting it over. He showed me that in that case, I should have been at least 50% of the diameter. Therefore, the tipping point is central instead of way out to the front. Trying to wedge all that weight over such a forward point. It really helped. This old dog learned a more advanced technique, especially close to houses.

Trees with tops on and trees with tops off. Trees 50’ and trees 200’. Soft….Hard…. all flavors. This tree 175’ top on. It was a good one! Thanks brother!!👍🏻👍🏻💯
