Between Dualtron X and Rion RE 100. I would lean to the Dualtron X for sure it'll be more comfortable. And Im glad you said it. Great review 👍.

You're so lucky to have an escooter shop nearby to try all these. Because of your previous video, I broke down and purchased the Turbowheel Dart(Zero 9) 3 days ago. I already own a perfectly working Zero 8 too. I'm only 185 lbs and flat terrain here in Chicago

@@TimsElectric The rear tire requires a tire extender to pump air but as soon as I detach it, I already lost a lot of air. Should I inflate the tire to 65 psi, anticipating that I'll lose about 15 psi trying to detach the tire extender? Also, my front disk is rubbing with the brake.

Tim, Good work checking out the X, I haven't ridden that beast yet. I think Canadians are nicer than American's because most bikers here look at me on a scooter like they want to beat the crap out of me! I'm glad to see another reviewer like myself who isn't looking to try to show top speed on these monsters!

Ive owned a Thunder. Fell twice on less than a month and promptly sold it the third fall because I knew I would eventual seriously hurt myself. Not enough centrifugal force to hold you upright when the shit hits the fan i.e., slippery patch of side walk or greenway that comes up around the bends can change your day quick. Ive had a ground hog cut my path off. Lucky catastrophey was avoided. Ive had cars pull infront of me while going down the road at 40mph and ive been cut off by cars. These things will cause serious harm if your dont tread lightly.

You can throw yourself around at any speed but also can drive calmly at any speed so realize that the speed is not being felt only the change in speed or direction and you can mitigate this by leaning into any change in speed or direction just like when you turn you need to lean to accelerate and I'm only saying this for your benefit I do understand that acceleration is acceleration is acceleration weather turning or stoping if you do anything but continue in the same direction at the same speed your accelerating

@TimsElectric
4 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, The scooter is super expensive and so I didn't want to put 100 plus kilometres, although Ride the Glide didn't say I couldn't lol, sorry....although the size of the scooter's battery is massive and I'm sure that the range would be close to the range advertised. I'd be interested in hearing from an owner to see what they got...if you find a video with a range test do share it with me :)

How tall are you? Handlebars looked low. Did you get that impression as well?
@TimsElectric
4 жыл бұрын
That's a really good question and something I missed to talk about in my review. I am 185 cm (6 foot) tall and I did find the handlebars a bit low..similar to the Mercane Wide Wheel Pro being too low...I think the reason why is that there's an option for a seat ...so maybe they had to compromise? Not sure...also of course the engineering involved to have something telescopic with the power involved might prove to be more difficult :) thanks for the question :)
