I lived in Paris as a kid in the early 1970s and they had this very machine at the corner cafe. I played hundreds of games it! The guy playing here doesn't know the model because there is a plunger on the left side that you could go to repeatedly (with practice). I started getting kicked out because I got so many free games that for a franc (basically a quarter) I could play for hours (and in France they set the machine so you only got three balls, not five). Ah, those were the days!

The buzzing sound is normal on the left flipper?

The buzzing is normal on EM machines. You get that added thrill of feeling you might get zapped every time you play (you won't get zapped though).

The bells are a bit quiet in this one. Don't know why.

There are chimes in this game -- but they're almost certainly not Gottlieb's. The notes clearly come from a Bally solid-state game.
