...in my pre-retirement old school world, large concrete pours (especially building slabs/stem walls and bridge footings/piers/foundations) were only one small step behind paving/chip sealing projects for being #1 on the "won't sleep the night before" Anxiety Scale. It's good to see a nicely done first-day pour without the drama of the other day. Nicely done and Thanks for the Video!!

Pouring concrete hasn't change since I did it for my summer job back in the 60's. Great satisfaction with a job well done by a crew that worked together.

Gen. contracting is like herding cats; lotsa negotiating and wrangling and cash flow and logistics that go on behind the scenes, _stressful_ business to be in -- _especially_ when it comes time to deal with local government bureaucracy. But if you like playing with dude-sized toys it's a fun line o' work.
