Wow Cody showed what sportsmanship and friendship is all about. only day he got in Montana with his bow to try to tag out and he wished his friend had got this last Montana bull instead of him. Wow that's selflessness and shows how great a guy Cody is. For me I'm glad they got this bull to give all of us watching a more in depth view not of hunting but of these guys character. You guys rock. Cant wait for what's next...

What a trip guys...MT was something special. From the addition of Ty to our first true backpack hunt to picking some new locations to grizz country...it was all life changing. Couldn't be more excited that Kody killed this bull. He has held a camera for the past few years way more than the bow and it was perfect timing for him to punch a tag. When any of us kill an elk on these hunt it is 100% a team bull...and as a team we got 3 in a week. That is what it's all about. Ya never know how the videos will play out or how the edits will come across but as a group we have so much fun hunting together. Literally every single time we meet up all we are doing is laughing the entire time. Sure hope you all can feel that by watching these collaborations. Love you guys like brothers and we are so happy to see the momentum and following grow as LOF and LOF 2.0 play out. See you in a few days!

Hi, Cody! I don’t know if someone has already commented, or if you have changed this since the series, but I just wanted to let you know that the American flag on your pack is on the wrong side. The flag should be approaching, not retreating. My husband was in the Air Force, and is a veteran of Operation Southern Watch. He respects the fact that you wear the flag on your pack and absolutely loves your show. Like so many other married couples, we watch it every night. Everything about this series strikes a chord with is, from the love between your brothers, the respect you have for wildlife, and the naked enthusiasm each of you show for the opportunity to be doing something you love. Please keep it up, we haven’t finished this series yet and can’t wait for the next one.

We truly went back and forth about commenting, because we didn’t want anyone to think that we watched a beautiful, inspiring episode and simply wanted to pick on the insignificant. Ultimately, my husband asked that I post, because he has read some discouraging and negative responses, and hoped he could help avoid a possible mean comment about the flag. You are each inspiring and visionaries. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

Mike Hillis, In terms of wearing the American Flag, there is a correct way and an incorrect way. No one is obligated to wear the flag this way, but if you are concerned about proper flag etiquette, it is is stars before bars. I love how you guys pray for safety and stuff before the hunt but I really appreciate how you pray for the humility to be kind to everyone you may encounter no matter the situation. The pack out really puts the whole thing into perspective. I’m from(Québec , Canada,) we hunt moose and we don’t usually pack out the meat because we have to register the moose skin, bones and all, so we usually quarter it and use ATV’s to bring it out. Where we hunt there are two other groups of hunters on neighboring territories. When one group has a moose down they communicate it by walkie talkie and we all drop what we are doing to go in to help them make a trail for the ATV and get the moose field dressed and out of the woods. Sometimes more than 10 of us in there to help. Makes for a quick and easy job. The camaraderie is the best!

This video made me so happy. Kody totally earned this elk. He spent the entire LoF thus far filming, packing, supporting everyone else. It's definitely his turn. It was so "Kody" of him to wish that his buddy had gotten the animal - a true demonstration of his character and morals. They don't make them much better than Kody Kellom... well in addition to Treavor, Trent, Casey, Logan, Brian and all the other guys they seem to hunt with on the LoF projects thus far.

Awesome video! I'm from Montana but live in Colorado now. As luck would have it, I drew my dream Montana tag the first year I applied as a non-resident after 9 years of applying. I killed my bull on this exact same day! On day 12 of a 13 day hunt. After 12 days of 4 hours of sleep a night. After 12 days of passing up bulls. So i know roughly how you guys felt having to pack a bull out after feeling beat. Luckily for the both of us, we had good friends to help ease the pain! Though mine was a solo hunt, after I had a bull down, I had several friends willing to come help with the pack out! Thanks for doing what you do and showing the world what real hunting is all about!
