Thx for the memory. Fished Rock Creek 20 years ago. Morning was magic on nymphs. Sat down at noon for lunch. Could hear bugs crashing through the bushes next to the water. Got thwacked in the back of the head by one. Grabbed it. 2 inch salmonfly. We hit the hatch dead on. The afternoon was unforgettable. Every cast. Browns gorged with salmonflies puking out their mouths. Hundred fish day. Rock Creek is like fishing on a water slide. Thx

remember when people used to just fish and not try to sell a bunch of gear? Those were the days.

If you use a device like the Ketchum-Release you don't need to handle the fish or bring it out of the water; two things which greatly decrease mortality. Try one and save the fish!

Ditto. I had to stop watching. Why no videos on how to handle and release fish?

We fished the Dalles, on Rock Creek, during the salmon fly hatch, a couple, three years ago. The water was running so fast, we didn't do much good.

I know exactly what stream these guys were fishing, but if I said the name it would undoubtably create a huge increase of fishing there and ruin the experience. I usually see two or three people in thirty some miles of stream during the week. If you want to stay with me, I'll take you there!!

Too bad they're too selfish to mention the river they're fishing although it looks like possibly the blackfoot

+Geri Gordy now now, folks have been keeping fishing spots secret for decades....lol. Just kidding and I think you are right on the Blackfoot.

+Geri Gordy It has nothing to do with selfishness. If you had a river where you could go with your buddies and have fun with no pressure would you be willing to post the name and where it is located to 7,250 guys? I don't think so.
