A collection of short vignettes captured along the banks of the Big Thompson River in Moraine Meadows on a bright and sunny end of summer day. To make it more special, about 100 yards away we were joined by a bull elk (who bugled many times) and his small harem who came down a small rise, over the road, and hung out in the river, ate grass and drank from the stream.
